I absolutely love, love, love this place! My friend and I meet here regularly. The vegetable sushi is divine, and you get 8 of them with a vegetable roll. For those of you who drink alcohol(I don’t), the house wine is $ 3.50 a glass. This place has never let me down.

First time visit, on a week night. Easy to get seat. Staff all cordial and courteous. We shared small plates. Had Green Bamboo roll. Very good. Plenty of sliced ginger. Always avoid was-was-Wasabi. Then Japanese noodles with shrimp. Very good. Flavorful. Like larger noodles. Generous portion of medium sized shrimp. Then Tiger roll. Great too Pleasant dining experience. (Gotta be packed on Friday & Saturday nite date nites.)

Best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Salmon skin hand roll was amazing and the sushi/sashimi for two was so awesome. Our server, Lisa, was spot on. Great service!!!

Health rating is still only a 90 as of today. What! No excuse — I won’t be back and it’s too bed because the service and location is great.

My favorite place that’s right down the street. Sometimes I wonder why they never are as busy as they should be. The interior is very calm and modern, the waitresses are always on point and friendly. My favorite is the lunch specials, chicken lo mein for 8 dollars. Can’t go wrong!

Excellent food and service. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Charlotte! Unlike some Chinese restaurants they make their own sauces which is important to me because of the MSG.

Went to Wild East for NYE with some friends who go often and it did not disappoint. Our friends go there almost weekly and the entire staff remembers them and says hi. The menu is large, like NJ diner large. It covers a wide variety of Far East cuisines from sushi to Chinese to Thai and curry dishes. The NYE special sushi rolls both had lobster and one had scallops. They were decadent. They have cheap wine and beer selections and the food is excellent. Service was great too. Don’t sleep on Wild East.

I went on a Saturday evening and the place was completely packed. Our waitress was all over the place and it was hard to get her attention. She was disorganized and actually forgot to give us our bill. Prob one of the worse customer service I’ve had at a restaurant. The food itself was pretty disappointing. I ordered the miso soup, Pennsylvania sushi, and orange chicken. Miso soup was extremely salty. The Pennsylvania roll has raw fish in it even though it wasn’t specified on the menu. Orange chicken was also a little too salty and wayyyy too hard. The pieces were too big as well and there was barely any broccoli. Needless to say, I ain’t going back. Don’t waste your time eating here.

Reasonable price for the quality of the sushi. There is a special of buying one getting the second special roll half off. The waitress, Jenny, was very easy going and recommended couple things not on the menu. The alligator roll, which wasnt on the menu, was dynamite. If I’m ever in the area again, I would come back.

Food here is pretty good. Came for lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. Got several appetizers. Dumplings were food. Egg rolls were good and crispy.

The water tasted funny. I had General Tso’s chicken and a bad stomach for four days. I would try them again if the cleanliness rating was improved to 95% or above. Currently 93%.

Love this place, going for dinner with my family. Great food and service. I am using them for my catering for my private Jet Catering services and my clients truly enjoy the freshness and quality of the sushi.

Lovely place. Nice interior design. I stopped by here for lunch on a Thursday. It wasn’t that busy. I sat in a section away from the bar area, close to the outdoors with large, open windows facing the road. The road was a bit nosy, but the breeze coming through was pleasant. There were a couple of TVs overhead so that was a nice bonus. I ordered the green curry, which was tasty but I wanted some more of the creamy curry sauce. It didn’t have that wow factor. I also ordered the Twister and Manhattan sushi rolls as a part of the BOGOHALFOFF promo(special promotion on Tuesdays/Thursdays/Sundays). Both were delicious and filling. But they seemed a bit similar. The waitress was nice and the service was good. I didn’t have to wait long for the food. Prices were reasonable, and especially good if it’s during a promo. I’d like to visit here again to try more of their special sushi rolls.

I visit Charlotte quite often and whenever I get close, usually after a trip to the REI Pineville store, I have a meal here before heading home. The atmosphere is soothing: quiet and a bit dark, nicely decorated. The staff have always been attentive and pleasant. It is a nice pit stop before the drive back to Columbia. The food has always been very good with lovely presentation. I will return the next time I’m in the area.

Fancier Japanese sushi restaurant, Wild East is dark and dim and has lots of wood. Well decorated and quite fancy with bamboo inlays for the chairs and tables. The sushi menu had a good selection of «creative» rolls and the usual list of regular rolls. As well, some cooked food available for those who aren’t into the raw fish(you know who you are). We ordered four rolls with a soup and a seaweed salad to start. The soup and salad arrived swiftly and we had plenty of time to enjoy them before our rolls arrived.(Yes, she asked if it was okay that all four were on one plate.) The rolls were tasty and fresh. Nicely arranged, nicely topped. Very nice. A good amount of sushi and while the prices were a little higher than I’d usually go for, it was good. I would return.
