Uv Nails

Staff was very nice and friendly. Not my normal nail place but decided to give it a try. Had my feet in the water until it turned cold before somebody came to help me (which was kid of nice anyways because it was so hot in the salon). While waiting a noticed tony fruit flies flying around and the staff swatting at them. When my tech put the hot towel on my legs long black hairs came off the towel which she proceeded to pick off of my legs. Then when going to grab the nail polish she dropped the polish (we’re all human, it happens) however the glass cut my cousins foot (also getting a pedicure) and paint got all over my clothes and they didn’t do anything about it. Without a doubt will never be visiting this nail salon again.

The employees were nice and spoke to us in a friendly manner while attending to us. We received a pedicures. My feet were soft and the service was great. I will continue to support this place as they are in my area.

Staff was very polite. It took awhile to be seen (but I was also a walk-​in & hadn’t set up an appointment so that’s on me). I got a gel manicure. Pricing wasn’t any different than most places. They used a different technique then I was used to (but not bad). Overall I’m happy with the outcome.

It took an hour and 45 minutes to take my gel nail polish off and to get new gel on only. Some of the ladies were working on 2 customers at once and I could tell the customers were irritable. The lady I had was constantly on her Facebook. I told her that I needed a little more time for my nails to dry under the light since it usually chips easily, but she made me put my nails under for 5 minutes at a time. I didn’t know that was a choice. The machine looked old, so maybe that’s why? Oh, the girl next to me had to wait for a machine for her gel polish to dry. What kind of nail place doesn’t have enough machines like that?! The other employee working next to me, young, blonde highlights, was talking to her customer and they kept making smart remarks about other guests and employees. They were quiet about it, but I overheard it. It was just an overall unpleasant visit. I’ve gone several times and I always leave a 20% tip. I still did this time, but if they can’t remember me leaving a good tip, and still provide bad customer service, I won’t be going back anymore.

Since I’ve been in Charlotte for a year, I’ve only came to this salon! I absolutely love Vicky! They are very nice, and they do a great job! I recommend mani & pedi. And they do a great job of waxes!!!
