I have been coming to Urban Skin Solutions for 4 months now for laser hair removal treatments. Rachell Roff and Simonè are the best at what they do. They take their time and make sure they don’t miss a spot. The front desk is very friendly. I have called 48hrs. before my scheduled appt. and they were very nice and flexible with their scheduling. I have had great results with my treatments. They also have great monthly specials and have comfortable prices for their treatments. I recommended this MedSpa to everyone.

The front service is friendly. My complaint is regarding the laser hair treatments. I went in for lip and chin package. I completed package but now hair is growing back in place on the chine and cheeks that was never there before. Its a never ending battle as now i have to deal with the new hair. also the aestheticians change alot so ive explained this each time that the hair was growing back thicker and more course but i don’t think they have very good note taking. with the turnover of the staff they may need a better way to track progress of laser hair especially if you buy a package, to see before and after. If i could do again to zap three hairs on my chin i would not because it has created a full beard up my cheeks. the mustache however has not grown back. Prices for the skin care products are expensive. After I complained about the hair growth i was told they would have to start charging me for more than lip and chin and they tried to sell me some overpriced skin care. no thanks

I was nervous to come here after seeing some of the other reviews… With that said, I was pleasantly surprised. I utilized a living social deal for an IPL facial. The spa is nicely decorated, clean, and offers many services and products. As a licensed medical aesthetician, myself, I’m pretty picky and observant. My esthetician, Jonet, (I believe that is how to spell her name) was AWESOME. Knowledgeable, friendly, and I got a really good vibe from her. I will definitely be going back for additional services from her.

I bought two of this groupon deal to equal out to six total treatments. To date, I have used only two of the six treatments. I am extremely dissatisfied with this merchant. After leaving messages with the answering service, I have to call back about 75% of the time because the company does not contact me back. Second, I find the staff unprofessional as I hear them discussing other client’s skincare problems in an open area. Third, the laser is very painful and not at all like a rubber band snap as they described to me over the phone. I have had bikini waxes, facial waxes, etc. on a monthly basis for over ten years. Be warned– the laser is nothing like that. They offer no cooling/​numbing gel (except for applying ice for about a minute beforehand). Lastly, I question the training of the staff. Last time, I had a tech. wax my eyebrows. They were so uneven and looked so bad, that I asked her to stop midway through, and I walked out to have them «fixed» elsewhere. When I asked if she did eyebrows a lot, she said: «all the time.» Scary! Even my boyfriend commented on how «weird» and «uneven» they looked before I could get them fixed.
In general, my interactions with this company have not been favorable. In fact, their lack of professionalism make me question the training and abilities of the staff. I have received a full-​refund for my purchase (thank goodness for groupon), and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please don’t risk it!

Rip off. This is a once annual treat for me and wanted to try local business. The nurse practitioner doubled usual amount of Botox units (they were having a «special» that week). She didn’t apply them correctly and therefore the effect didn’t last even ¹⁄₃ of usual timeframe. Interpersonal skills were non-​existent as well. Waste of money and time.
