Sweet It Is!

I ordered a birthday cake for my son from Lori and sent her a design of a character my son likes. She went above and beyond to make such a perfect cake! The design was incredible and better than the idea I sent her! Lori is as sweet as her cakes and I am SO glad I ordered from her! Easy transaction and fast communication!
Everyone loved the birthday cake and thought it was perfect!!! Thank you Lori, I’m looking forward to eating my leftover piece of cake (I mean my son is looking forward to it…)

This review is for the consultation that I had with this business. Setting up the consultation I called her and we set a date. She then asked me for my address so that she could text me her address, so I did. She texted me her address and then began to ask me a number of questions via text and send me links. I’m not going to lie, this was pretty annoying to me as i’d rather conduct business via email or over the phone. I did explain this to her however and she was nice about it and held off until our consultation. The consultation was free and was for a birthday cake so I wasn’t expecting anything more than a conversation. However, I walked in and she had a spread prepared of at least 8 different cakes and a few icings. She also provided fruit infused water. I was impressed. Our conversation went well and based off the tastings I knew which flavor that I would get if I went with her. That Amaretto cake is stuff dreams are made of! I was also able to meet her husband as he stopped in to pickup a cake for a delivery. Very friendly family! I however ended up not going with her, only because I found a different baker who specializes in custom shaped and designed cakes and their details and artistic abilities surpassed. However, I would still recommend Sweet It Is for their cakes. They do beautiful designs and her cakes taste very good! She is definitely still on my list of possible bakers in the future!

I worked with Lori to get my boyfriend a birthday cake. I’m operating on a budget and she was awesome about giving me options to bring the price down. She ended up giving us the most amazing cake that exceeded all expectations at a very reasonable price. She was awesome to work with and I couldn’t be happier with the cake.

I’m a fan for excellent customer service! Wow, and when you pair great customer service with an excellent product,…ahemmm cupcake, then I’m all over it! I called Lori 2 days before tThanksgiving to inquire about cupcakes for the day after Tgiving. I knew it was a long shot but I was a desperate auntie trying to pull together a last minute slumber party for my niece. Lori was pleasant and professional and did not blink twice at my last minute request. The cupcakes were delivered, YES, delivered on time and Lori remembered little details from our conversation and added some appropriate bling to make them even more festive. Oh… And they tasted wonderful! Moist, sweet but not overdone. My niece has never eaten an entire slice of birthday cake because cake is not her thing but she gobbled up these cupcakes! Thanks Lori for helping this auntie keep her title as the best auntie ever!
