So far so good. I just got my 2015 Acura TLX done last week and it looks great! They did it in 45 minutes on my lunch break and did an awesome job. Kyle knows his stuff and had good customer service.

Sun Stoppers was recommended by a shop down the street from me so decided to give them a shot. They had no wait and super comfortable waiting area: ESPN and jumbo couches.
Price seemed pretty good, but I’ve only gotten my windows tinted twice in the last 15 years. Was more or less in range in what I had paid for a similar vehicle.
The tint came out great and looks to be like a very clean installation. Only took about an hour and the film quality is supposed to be great stuff. I’d definitely go back here again.

Had to bring in my car to have the tint removed due to our wonderful NC registration laws. Matt was awesome– he called me back right away, got me in immediately and was very personable and charged a good price. I agree with a past post «Wanda is a ray of sunshine». If only all places could be this customer service focused! I’ll be back soon when I decide to re-​tint the windows. Thanks Matt and Wanda!

My new-​to-​me car still had the plain glass from the factory and I knew that I wanted to darken it, not just for privacy but also to block out some of those darned UV rays that seem to be everywhere these days. A quick search of the Unilocal and I’d found my place after reading Sarah’s review.
They quoted me a price over the phone and I made an appointment, dropping of the car and heading nearby for a nibble and stalking some places to review later. When I returned, I could see that the guys had done a completely professional job that, even with the lifetime warranty, will last for quite a long while. No bubbles, no missed spots and the tinting is carefully tucked under the various gaskets and things so that it won’t get peeled.
A little on the spendy side and perhaps not as dark as I wanted, but I’m very pleased with the quality.

I’ve been meaning to get my windows tinted for some time. Now as we enter the summer months it’s almost critical that I take some initiative and just take care of it. Black car + Black leather seats+ Sun= Very HOT in my car!
My husband ran into a guy at our gym who works for Sun Stoppers and gave us a great deal to get my car tinted. I dropped it off Saturday around 10am and they had it ready in about 2 hours. The guys there did a fantastic job, and were very courteous. I’ll definitely recommend Sun Stoppers to anyone.
This location is off Albemarle Road and Farm Pond right near the Wendy’s. If you’re coming from Harris and Albemarle you’ll have to make a U-​turn at the next light.
