Southpark Eats Alternative

After seeing the multiple check ins from Demetria M., I had to experience this food truck gathering for myself. I arrived around 11:30am just before the lunch time rush. The following food trucks were present:

I decided to go with the lemongrass chicken bahn mi sandwich from Yummi Bahn Mi and pulled chicken taco from Tin Kitchen. The Bahn Mi sandwich was tasty and fresh. The pulled chicken taco left much to be desired and lacked flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the food for each truck. If you bring $ 15-​$ 20 dollars, you should be able to purchase food from at least two different trucks, purchase at least 2 items from one truck, or order a combination platter as offered by Tin Kitchen and Ooowee BBQ.

Southpark Eats Alternative (SEA) is a weekly food truck rally located in the parking lot behind Panera Bread every Wednesday from 11−2pm. The trucks vary and alternate weekly… so it’s usually about 7 trucks one week and 7 different trucks the next week. I recently started working in the area so I really look forward to trying different trucks every Wednesday. They also support the local food banks by collecting can goods once a month along with other events.
