Salon Piper Glen

In my search to find a new stylist since mine moved out of town, I came across Salon Piper Glen. I have curly hair that can be dry and frizzy, so it always helps to have a stylist who is familiar with my hair type. I suppose that’s true for all hair types. Shannon has now cut and styled my hair 3 times. She is always attentive, has great hair tips, and introduces me to new products or products she loves for my hair type. She has great product knowledge. She’s a genuine person to boot.

Thanks to Unilocal for a positive experience in my neighborhood today! Salon atmosphere was laid back and services were reasonably priced. Cut and color by Megan were exactly what I asked for. Bonus — massaging chairs at the shampoo station!

I went there by recommendation and paid $ 50 for a 30 $ haircut. The styling was terrible. It was a straight 10 minute haircut. The hair was simply blow dried. Honestly, just the way I do it at home. I couldn’t tell a difference if I did it. The product knowledge of different hair products is very poor. My hair didn’t feel or looked better going out of this place. I might would have felt better paying 30 $ for it. This is pretty much the value of this haircut. I walked out very disappointed. I get the same haircut and style for years. You really can’t do anything wrong. I used to get the same service for $ 35 and always felt great about the hairstyle. This place is really disappointing and I will never return. There is a google review of this salon from a different customer and it pretty much describes the same. Waste of time, money and a mood spoiler!

It was by-​chance /​other Unilocal reviews that I ended up here. Actually drove another salon and Unilocal reviews were so scary I left. Happened to be at trader joes and saw this salon, read reviews and decided to give it a try. I had Onie as a stylist and I just loved him. He is younger, stylish and such a nice person! They give you a $ 25 gift card to use on your second visit and a goody bag when you leave! I already have another appointment for color. You also can’t beat doubling the trip with a stop at trader joes, Starbucks or the greenway!

I chose Salon Piper Glen because of its proximity to my home and have been incredibly impressed.
Since I called in desperate need of a haircut, I asked for the first available appointment. My stylist was Lauren, and I ADORE her. She is super personable and connects well with clients. I’m a very simple person and so is my style. She understood that immediately and suggested & executed a no-​fuss hairstyle that I loved.
They also incentivize first-​time customers with a sizable discount, and do the same for a couple of follow-​up appointments.
Prices are fairly low, considering that you’re getting really high quality and service from the staff. Less than I expected for a shampoo/​cut.
