I LOVE getting my hair done here.
My stylist Meghan is awesome, friendly, fun and easy to get an appointment with. She knows how what looks good on me and does a wonderful job each time. I get color, cuts and shampoo & blow dries.
The inside is clean, and upbeat. Parking is right out front. I like the other business around it.

I really like coming to this salon. It’s a smaller one but the atmosphere is always nice! My stylist who is a godsend was recommended to me by an old high school friend and I have never gone anywhere else since meeting her. Courtney is the best colorist I have encountered in Charlotte and I’ve tried many! I think this review is probably mostly about her since I haven’t used any of the other stylists there.
Courtney is like your therapist and hair stylist all in one! She always remembers everything and she is always helpful with tweaking my color cut ideas. (I am forever taking her pictures and saying I want this but…) I have never found such an amazing person that I trust with my hair completely and who I never EVER want to lose :-) Her prices are the best I have ever seen for someone of her caliber… honestly sometimes things like hair stylists can be very subjective, part of it really is if you mesh well with them. However I have never found someone who could color and cut my hair (and style it without me wanting to go home and wash my hair before going anywhere) really well. Usually they can only do one or the other, but not Courtney she really is a gem!

I love Salon on Selwyn. The location is convenient, the atmosphere is cool, the activity outside the windows on the plaza is entertaining, the people are all very nice, and the results are fantastic. Toneia does great hair — I get so many compliments on the color and have such an easy time styling my hair every day. I’m always changing my hairstyle and the versatile cuts make it work so many different ways. I always look forward to my visits — a visit with Toneia is always the most relaxing part of my week!

One of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had — uneven and random longer bits for no reason. My hair is short, so it’s quite noticeable when I’m styling it myself. And it’s not very much like the photo I brought in.
