Recently I had the opportunity to obtain a speeding ticket and when I went to county courthouse, I was told that I had two options, take the defensive driving class or pay the ticket and let the insurance company rob me. So, I decided to save some money and came to this place for defensive driving class. I really liked their flexibility with timing since my class was from 6pm to 10pm. I was running late due to traffic and arrived here at 6:05pm. I barged in front window and the lady welcomed me with big smile at 6pm. I was very happy since I was NOT denied for being late.
I entered the class room and I was amazed that it was packed since there were around 30 people. Our instructor was a really nice guy who told us in first fifteen minutes that he will try to end the class around 9:30p. I was surprised to see there were couple of folks sleeping through out the whole session. Our instructor had to wake him up couple of times to let him know that he would have to take the course again if he didn’t pay attention but he didn’t listen.
Anyways, all in all I think it was a good class where I got a chance to think about why people speed, why some folks have road rage. We were also presented with some question where if you are in some situation, what would you do and how you would react? so I think it really helped me. This course also help me think about what we can do to look out for some crazy folks on the road.
