Ryan makes you look good! He is honest about styles and hair color that accentuate your looks. He is a perfectionist and one of the nicest people. My wife and I have been going to Ryan for almost 30 years, and we still get compliments on our hair. So many of his clients are long standing regulars, he is just that good…

Moving here from Boston and flying to Boston and New York ~3x/​year (my hair grows slow, ok) for a haircut was getting a little expensive. I never, ever, thought I could find someone talented for a short haircut that could grow out and «become» another style before it was cut again.
Through a friend I heard about Ryan’s. I went here and was really nervous I was going to walk out with a boring cut, like I had at ~3 other places in Charlotte (even the «edgy» places). Ryan worked his magic, and I will NEVER go anywhere else.
I arrive and never ask for anything anymore, he just does a different and cool cut every time and I leave feeling wonderful!
Yes, it’s a bit pricey for Charlotte, but it’s worth it. Don’t forget cash for a tip!

I’m new to Charlotte and was very concerned about finding a skilled hairdresser that is good with color and hair cuts. Michelle did a fabulous job in listening to my needs and wants. Shannon (receptionist) was very nice and accommodating. Nice small, boutique salon but pricey.

I have lived in the Charlotte area for 3 yrs and have yet to have a haircut I really love. I had a Groupon to Ryan’s Salon and for the haircut and treatment I received it was worth the full price. Patrick knew exactly what my hair needed, fixing the horrible cut from a few month prior at another Salon. Thanks Patrick.

i needed my eyebrows waxed and I often pass by Ryan’s on my daily ride through town. I have yet to find my salon to call home so I thought I would try it out. I think if they can do a good wax then they may be worth testing out for my hair. The staff was very friendly and despite my tardiness took me right back. My brows look great! The prices on the menu look a little higher then I would want to pay for my cut and color but I would certainly recommend them! Also a note that they don’t accept tips on credit cards only cash.

As a Charlotte native, I have been going to Ryan’s Salon since I was old enough to really care about how my hair looked (my mother started going at least 20 years ago). Ryan’s is now an Aveda salon, and they are the best at anything that has to do with hair. I have gotten great cuts here for years, and I also had my hair done twice for prom. Ryan’s was also there to restore my hair color after I died it almost black for months at a time my junior year in high school (I was a blonde naturally). I reccomend Ryan’s to anyone who wants fabulous service and amazing hair. I also reccomend that you call to schedule an apointment, it’s rare that they can help a drop-​in.
