I moved here from out of state in October of 2015 and have had over 30 work orders in my unit. I am in the same bldg. as the model and they don’t give a darn about the other units in this property. I have been in constant contact with the manager Jessica Blum and Domonique Jackson, they are unaccountable and dare I say, lie and make bold face excuses regarding the spotty maintaince on this property. I am writing this because I am fed up with the lies and horrible work. I have had problems with heating, toilets, sinks, the refrigerator, windows drawers in all rooms, MY apartment wasn’t cleaned ATALL or painted before my move in, faceplates/plugs upside down,…oh and the very dangourous patio that I have not been able to use for 2 months. Jessica claimed to be looking for contractors *** this means when my staff gets around to it. They blame everything on non existent contractors, if you use contractors inspect the work before paying, because they do HORRIBLEWORK. ITISJESSICAFAULT! she does not care and is the worst manager for a 400+ unit property! Either way Riverbirch tenants I am seeking outside assistance and filing claims with local agencies because I cannot handle the blatant disregard for my safety and well being. I suggest you do the same. BBB ** this place is D rated 704) 927‑8611 Charlotte Fire inspectors:

I would like to share my story for any current residents or anyone looking to move here. On September 182015 I put in a maintenance request for a leaking toilet at approximately 1:30. At about 3:00 pm I left my apartment and left my MacBook Pro on my bed in my room. When I returned to my apartment the doors were locked the way I left them with no signs of forced entry. There was a note from the maintence staff saying they had come to my apartment to inspect the toilet and would return the next day for repair. The next morning I realized my mac book pro was no where in my apartment. I immediately notified the staff and was told the manager would be notified. Today, a month later after numerous attempts for answers, the district manager finally reached out to me. To tell me I have no proof that anyone from their staff stole my laptop and that I still need to continue to pay to live there or pay per terms of my lease agreement to end it, because they are not at fault in this situation. So please be aware.
