The organization in this store was great, but I came on black friday so there was way too many people for me to properly browse. Prices seemed reasonable. Mostly used, but there was some new stuff available. I will come again next time I am in Charlotte.

Great store, well organized. Used and new selections with fair prices. They have a good poster selection and some other interesting odds and ends. Plenty of room to peruse.

Love this place! They have an entire wall of records organized by artist, lots of classic rock. Mainly older stuff but some new music too. Also cds, posters, etc. Overall, great music store.

I love this store! So many records to choose. They have everything here. If you are looking to build a vinyl collection like myself, start here. The owner is also kind and helpful. You can even find rare records here too. Don’t wait longer. Go now!

This place is awesome! What a great find! Putting together a birthday gift for my boyfriend, I came across this place. The selection is overwhelming, but well organized! I found everything I was looking for… Led Zeppelin, James Taylor, Crosby stills and Nash. I could have spend hours in that place. They had tapes, cd, along with record. The records are priced very well. Beat Amazon prices, I got some for 4 dollars and then up from there. They also have new records as well!

Owner was super nice great customer service would definitely recommend you to take your old goodies and to buy new ones much better experience than I had at another local record exchange store!!!

This place has been around Charlotte for a hot minute. Closing for a while then re opening at the spot off commonwealth. It was great to go in there and see the place. What I was impressed with is my friends band played there for an hour! That was awesome. They also sued very well. Also I know know where I can get hard to find records, if I can afford it. Nirvana Nevermind blue pressed record a whopping 200 bucks. Whew but they also have a regular copy for 25. Once I save some cash I will be hitting this place up again.

Just getting started collecting vinyl and I have to say if you’re looking to be shocked and amazed this is the place to go! I found Repo simply by searching Unilocal for record stores and decided to hit them up on my lunch break. When I walked in I didn’t even know where to begin, the collection of vinyl is so vast. Jimmy was very helpful and answered my questions and he also threw in a few freebies at checkout. Prices are very reasonable. Huge collection of LPs for $ 1.00. Found several Jim Croce records which made my day. I will be back for sure! What a hidden gem.

I’m soooo glad there is another record store in Plaza Midwood! I was getting so tired of going in the other record store on central and looked at like they were doing me a favor by letting my buy records from them, if they looked at you or talked to you at all. I am so grateful and thankful that REPO is back. They care about the customer and the music and will do anything the can to make sure they pair the two!!! They are great guys that will have a conversation with you about music, your thrift store find even the local shows. Great selection, mostly classic, if you are wanting something more current they would be happy to order it for you! Huge collection of 1.00 records and I personally have found a few gems in the dollar bins myself. I will now be shopping at REPO. The other guys(on central) can have the hipster situation. Their store smells like Willie Nelson’s Braids. gross. YAYREPOISBACK !!!

Oh Repo… welcome back!!! My musical life began at Repo and I was heartbroken when they left us in ’05. If it’s music on plastic, you can probably find it here. And if you can’t, they’ll get it for you. Long live the locally-owned music store!

We first found this place in college on Central Ave. as a place to sell our cassettes. LMAO. A year or so later cds were pumping out and we sold them too. A college student will sell anything. What I loved about this place is they had tons of promo cds for a buck each. I still have dozens that are worth a fortune now. Ok maybe a penny on the dollar I paid. But five stars for the owner who carried a gun complete with holster. You didnt question his price on a Wham tape. I was never into the whole vinyl thing but they have shitloads.
