I wish I could give this facility 0 stars! To begging with they make you pay for the service up front in order for you to have the exam done. They calculate what your insurance would cover and want you to pay your part or at least some or they won’t perform the exam. Also their MRI technicians are mean and inexperienced to say the least. Had a breast MRI done and it was an awful experience. I started to feel short of breath and asked the young technician to pull me out of the machine before I passed out and she kept saying no that I could not move or she would have to start the exam all over again. After almost two hours inside the MRI machine I was totally dizzy and barely could make my way back to the dressing room. I communicated the technician that I was not feeling well and she offered no help or even a cup of water. Someone like that should never be working in a health care center! Called the next day and asked for a copy of the results and was told they don’t provide you with a copy of your records. Any medical center or hospital usually do that but this facility deny their patients with a copy of their records as well. I cannot not recommend this facility to any one!

In July, I had two CT Scans performed at Presbyterian Imaging Center on Randolph Rd. I went first thing in the morning on both occasions and there was no one there other than the receptionist and the person running the machine. Those particular staff were very welcoming and friendly and made the experiences a breeze. I give them five stars. For the follow-up, I give Mecklenburg Radiology Associates one star. Hence, my three-star rating. I took the average. Since my visits, I have received a multitude of paperwork, all of which carry varying amounts, information, etc. I’ve requested twice now that they provide a detailed explanation of what bills cover what services and I’ve gotten no response other than a friendly letter from a collection agency. Apparently, they expect me to send in sixteen different payments just on a whim, because they requested it, offering no explanation or detail of each amount. So while I can recommend the staff at the Center, I can’t recommend the follow-up or billing department. They’re basically useless.
