NTB in Matthews, NC is soooo full of it sheesh came the other day Thurs(1÷28÷16) and they tried to be cheap and patched my tire instead of putting a new one for free that my warranty covers. I called from the time I left my house to make sure they had one in stock and didn’t realize that I was still on hold while driving there for 17 mins. When I walked in I told the guy name Roy someone left me on hold for 17 mins and he looked and said oh, how can I help no sorry for inconvenience or anything. Smh so now my time is being wasted sitting here waiting for them to put on a new tire going on 1hr. My next set of tires will not come from this place. Sitting in the waiting room since 5:00 and at 6:08 you ask me to go to Monroe NTB bc you don’t have one in stock. Didn’t even have the common courtesy to go get the tire for me instead he blew me off and said that it would be too late by the time he goes and get it so I should go get it. I was headed toward Charlotte but the nearest NTB was in Monrow opposite direction so that’s even more time and gas wasted. Also while I was there for about 45 mins I saw the Mgr Jason walk out of his office yawning as if he had been asleep I sarcastically asked and he said no. Save your money and go somewhere else

So lets start from the beginning, I got a coupon at my local grocery store for a basic oil change at NTB. I went to NTB to get a basic oil change for my VW passat, which I have been putting conventional oil in for years. When I arrived at NTB and asked for a basic oil change they gave me the run around and demanded I use synthetic oil, as they claimed that is what my car required. As I told them I have been using conventional oil and did not want to change to synthetic. They required me to sign a document saying that I assume any risks and liabilities for using conventional oil as they have recommended that I use synthetic. After we got all that drama sorted out, the work order, gets handed off to the technician who obviously is ready to take a break. Throws my paper(work order) on the ground and says, «im not doing this. Which the«manager» picks it up and hands it back to him and says, «yes you are». I am absolutely speechless and I should have just stopped the whole situation at that moment. So they technician begins to work on my car, gets it on the lift. I should also, mention that I have requested my tires to be rotated. Well, after a while the technician comes into the waiting room and asks me by name, «Do you have a wheel lock key?» I respond, no I do not because the lug nuts on my car do not require a wheel lock key. This isn’t a big deal it just shows the lack of competency at NTB. After a long wait, I see my car finally get pulled around to the front and then the technician comes inside, hands off the work order and then promptly takes a seat in the waiting room. I am then called to the counter to pay for the oil change(here is the best part). I am then informed after my oil change has been completed, that my car was not serviced with conventional oil as I requested, that I signed a document agreeing to receive, that NTB was out of conventional oil. He tells me gladly that he put in a synthetic blend and that he would not charge me the difference. It just blows my mind that he would not tell me that from the beginning when he obviously knew they were out of conventional oil all along. This isn’t a matter of debate against synthetic or conventional oil. The issue is about lying to the customer and not being honest from the beginning. Please learn from my mistake, do not seek out a bargain or a coupon for an oil change, you will get what you pay for.

Almost 2.5-hours for a simple tire rotation. Something’s wrong with this picture… I have a lifetime rotation and balance plan with them. Meaning, my visits are free. You would think they’d treat me well, considering the initial cost of said plan. Instead, they’ve ignored me to trip over each other for the customers that are buying tires today.
