No Grease

I have been seeing Dominic for about three years. He does a great job and I highly recommend him.

One word… excellence. From customer service to the finished product, everything at No Grease is done with excellence. You are greeted warmly upon entering. The upscale feeling of the barber shop is warm and inviting. Barbers are professional and everything is top-​notch. The added bonus of coming to this location is that you never know who you will run into. The boys love seeing the who’s who of Charlotte in the barbershop and always have stories to tell of who they saw. It’s great having a tasteful barber shop like No Grease. Great job, guys!

Keisha the barber provides nothing but world class service captivated with a craft in cutting hair. Make your appointment with her. She exceeds my expectations every time I visit Charlotte. Thx babe!

My minis and I had just arrived in CLT, we were out on a bike ride and rode past this shop. There was good music playing but I couldn’t tell what type of shop it was… African American barber shops and Caucasian shops cut very different and my son and I need a barber of the AA persuasion. We stopped in front and a gentleman came out and told us to come on in!
He was wearing a bow time and for a split second I thought am I going to get a hair cut and a bean pie? But no that is their dress code, all the men had on slacks, shirts with bow ties (shirts tucked in), and shoes! No baggy pants and Jordan’s here. The women were also dressed professionally and they were holding their own in the barbershop.
This was such a refresher for me, we have been in Austin for 6 years and although we have quite a few AA shops none of them compare to the atmosphere at No Grease.
I was offered a glass of wine (didnt want to be rude so I accepted), the minis were given water and were taking care of.
My sons hair is going through some rough patches (literally) but his barber was able to work around it and he looks great.
My barber was Dominique and he was also the one who invited us in, he was friendly, quick and professional. I almost lost it when he brought out the hot towel! I thought I died and went to barber shop heaven!
They have tvs, a pool table and did I mention wine? They are located in or attached to the TWC arena! These brothers make me proud!
We will definitely be back!

You can make appointments here, but walk ins are also welcome. I went here with my BF on a Saturday evening before we were to attend an event as soon as we got his hair cut. He wanted his hair cut in a style and not just buzzed off like he’s done in the past. As expected, since its inside Concord Mills Mall, it was packed. We put our name on a list and waited about 15 minutes. We didn’t specify whom we wanted as the person to cut his hair, but he got RoseMarie?
She asked and listened to what we wanted then she proceeded to cut, shave, shape, texture his hair, not slowly but with a definite picture for outcome in her mind. In the middle of cutting it into the style, she asked if she should go shorter and gave some suggestions.
My BF had not had his hair professionally cut before, but now he’s not allowed to cut it himself. The end result was awesome, she did a spectacular job with that shag he walked in with. He walked out looking like he should have been on the cover of some mens magazine.

In Charlotte for the first time. Decided to drop in. Although appointments are appreciated as the card says. My barber was Damien… Very professional and thorough in his barber skills. I got a lining and clean up on my beard, then went ahead and asked him to cut my hair down some.
When it was all said and done; he did a magnificent job. I highly recommend this place. It has a great energy, the barbers are top notch, and the results are outstanding. I will definitely be returning.

Everything about this barber shop is classic. The style of the barbers, the pool table in the lounge, the offerings of beer/​wine while visiting, and of course, the cuts. The experience they offer at No Grease is well above average. The attention to detail in the cuts, the warm lather on the neck after the cut, the friendliness of EVERYONE there, and not to mention the fact you’re getting a stylishly a barber shop. Check out Tim, he’s one of the longest barbers there, incredibly nice, and one a heck of a barber.

There are two No Grease options in the greater Charlotte area.
This location had a pool table and a cool staff. Dominque is my barber of choice here and he manages the location. Haircuts are a lite pricey at $ 20+, but that’s the norm for No Grease. Also, you have to make an appointment. Don’t try to walk in.

I am not from Charlotte but while in town I needed a haircut and beard trim. These guys are very friendly and very good at what try do. Everyone was professional and it was a great experience and a great haircut.
