Mega Nail Bar & Spa

Hmmm. Where to start? Well… I tipped $ 10 so it wasn’t bad at all. I had a guy do my feet while the chair beat my back out. The massage could have been a little longer and the parrafin wax could have been cooled before he wrapped the bag around my feet.
I got the Queen pedicure with all the additives. I was told alcohol is served and they give you cookies and cash. Alright I’m embellishing. But there was supposed to be champagne. I don’t drink champagne but an offer would have been nice. Ah well.
Maybe I’ll try again, we’ll see.

My girlfriends and I made appointments on Saturday afternoon for pedicures. When we arrived we were seated right away the staff all very pleasant. And with our wine in hand it was time to relax!
There are three options for the pedicures, Express, Classic and King or Queen.
Basically the Express doesn’t include a scrub and the Classic doesn’t include the parrifin. The King and Queen option has everything included. The prices were pretty reasonable, each option is just $ 5 more but for what you get and the service it’s totally worth it. I chose the Classic pedicure with the Honey scrub. The scrub smells delicious and it makes your feet feel soooo soft! I left very happy and my toes were beautiful!
If your interested they otffer several other services including waxing, facials, massage and hair services. I’d definetely recommend giving this place a try!

The staff is nice but the services are inconsistent. On my first visit I asked for acrylic nails and also a pedicure. Instead of doing them the correct way, I’m almost positive he just glued them on. They popped off within a week like press on nails. The pedicure, however, was great. I returned today and the pedicure I got was great and the staff is still friendly. No manicures for me though.

I visited this nail salon last week. I was able to spend about 15 mins to pick my gel nail color. Which is great because I hate being rushed. I was also offered beer or wine. I choose a beer :) the salon was clean and I noticed there tools were in autoclave bags. A must dealing with nails. My Hand and arm massage was short but relaxing. I left with great looking nails. Actually perfect. I would totally be a regular but was in town for business. Thanks Mega Nail Bar!

I love this place. They have nice employees, plenty of parking, quick service (no waiting), coupons on their website and a very clean spa.

Unilocal defintely needs an update on this place. I went with my daughter to get the mani & pedi. My daughter got the better of the deal, Nicole, did her pedi & mani and did a very good job. The only problem was that the nail polish was not so fresh and one toe smudged a couple of hours later. probably need to keep an updated stash of polish.
My services were not great and totally dissappointing. I had one person do my pedi and one do my mani. both of them were not successful in getting all of the old polish off. duh? how can you miss that? The girl who did my pedi was good on the massage but really needed to spend more time on smoothing out the rough spots. she also got polish on my skin and had to touch up a lot. she then told one of the girls that the nail polish was too thick — again — change out the polish!
While I was getting old gel off and putting new gel on. the girl totally forgot to do my cuticles and massage of the arms and hands. she also didn’t do a great job of getting the polish right to the cuticle (one girl gets it all over the place and the next one comes up short)
i did complain and management corrected some of it. but it was just too much of a let down. so I“m not going back. there are other better places to go and pay the same amount!
The wine which was included was nice. but not enough to get me back.
In response to the manager’s comment: I did not name the techs that I was not happy with and I did not talk behind her back. I came back within about 20 mins later. once I dropped my daughter off at home and then realized that my cuticles hadn’t been done… I called right away. I asked to speak to the mani tech and was told she was gone, I then asked to speak to Nicole. Nicole told me to come back. At first, they weren’t sure what they were going to do. So, they called the mani tech. At that point, they had another girl take care of me and then the manager put me on the phone with the girl who had done my mani. She apologized for forgetting to do the cuticles and massaage. Unfortunately, it was not appropriate for management to put me and the tech on the phone with her — like I was an accuser. Management made me feel like I wasn’t telling the truth. all they had to do was look at my cuticles and see that they hadn’t been done. I haven’t had an experience like this in any nail salon.

Very cool new nail bar and spa in town and this place is huge. Talk about spending the day at the spa grab a glass of wine, sit in a cozy reclining chair enjoy a relaxing pedicure then walk up to the manicure bar nope thats not all make sure to get a tan, get your hair done, get a water massage (not sure the name of that machine) move onto a couples massage and book your party in the back room with a 50inch screen for karaōke. yup that’s right karaōke.
And folks this place is no joke its huge its beautiful and the staff are all wonderful. A must on your to do list.
