Make Ready Matt’s Cleaning Service

This company is horrible! Found them on groupon and thought it sounded like a great deal. I paid for 3 hours of cleaning, which I was told would be 1.5 hrs with 2 cleaners. Turns out only one guy showed up (the owner) carrying a mop, a broom, and a bottle of cleaner. After walking through multiple times and requesting touch ups I got so annoyed I just left it as it was. I ended up having to re-​clean my entire home. And to top that, this was a home I recently bought and there was what appeared to be a calcium or rust type stain in one of the toilets. After the «cleaning» this stain remained unchanged and I asked him if he could remove it (seeing as a cleaning company should have the tools to do this). He told ME that I should probably «get a brillo pad or something» to get it out… UNBELIEVABLE. The next day I bought some CLR and scrubbed with a regular toilet brush and the stain was removed. This is a sorry excuse for a company. Please do not waste your time or money.

I saw this company listed on Groupon and called before I bought to make sure they could clean my home when I needed it. When I called they were able to do so and let me use the price that was given at groupon without purchasing. I was very specific at what needed to be done as I had just moved out of my townhome and needed it cleaned for showings. I was very dissapointed and after THREE times for them to come back, it was still not to my satisfaction. They did not even mop or vaccum and I asked for a DEEP cleaning– there were still rings in the toilets and dust on the shelves– I don’t understand how it could take 3x to clean a house with NOTHING in it and still not have it done properly. As another review mentioned, I could have done it better myself. Would have saved me time and money. I do NOT reccomend them.

I bought a groupon for 3 hours of house cleaning (1.5 hours with two people). They only cleaned for about 45 minutes. They arrived 2.5 hours prior to the appointment time which was very inconvenient. Lowest quality of cleaning I’ve ever seen from a professional cleaning service. After two walk-​throughs of my house with the owner, I gave up and decided it would be easier to finish the cleaning myself. On the first walk-​through, I saw they did not clean the sink, the stove top, vacuum the couch or chair, or vacuum the stairs. After they left, I saw they still had not vacuumed the chair, and they did not clean the kitchen island or sweep the sunroom. I have two more cleaning sessions with my groupon deal, so I hope they do a better job in the future. Currently, I would not hire them again nor recommend this business. I’d say that you get your money’s worth when you buy a groupon deal for cleaning, however I don’t think this was even worth the price I paid for the groupon.
