One of my old school favorites here in the QC, I’ve been going to Leo’s since before I can remember. They have great Deli sandwiches here. My usual favorites are the Reuben, which is served on Rye with heaps of delicious corned beef and sauerkraut. And the liverwurst sandwich, Liverwurst might be an acquired taste, but i think it is delicious and Leo’s serves the best around, I like mine on white bread… mmmm so good. They serve your sandwich with a large pile of fries and drinks are extra… they have really good sweet tea, i usually get that or the Dr. Brown’s roote beer. I also really like how they serve their drinks with crushed ice. If you are near Elizabeth stop in to Leo’s Delicatessen, a Charlotte favorite.

Their meats are really great. I’m a big fan of pastrami. Their bread is sub par and ask them to toast it. Who the hell serves a reuben on untoasted bread? I would give them four stars, but their waitress(only one i’ve seen — brunette in her 30s) doesn’t like to wash her hands. She’ll clean up tables, handle money, talk on her cell phone, blah blah blah… then you see her dip her hands into the chip box and put the chips on your plate. If you want to see a dirty look, tell a greek girl to wash her hands and ask for new chips… haha. this has happened both times i’ve been here. maybe im asking a bit too much, but if you eat here… you’ll see what i’m talking about!
