I stumbled upon HN8 while looking for a health food store, and was pleasantly surprised to learn HN8 is a cleaner, warmer, better selection version of the Charlotte Buffalo Exchange. Usually, these types of stores conjure up images of tweens and teens buying Abercrombie and Fitch and The Kardashian Kollection from Bebe. Both which you’ll find, secondhand here. But mixed in, Ann Taylor, and J. Crew and… surprise, surprise, new authentic Burberry.(I asked how this could be, and I was told this is because the store has a partnership with Burberry and overstock gets sold to HN8. Interesting.) I found the staff very friendly and helpful, and the selection, while not mind-blowing, is decent. The area where this store is reflects the stock– 7 Jeans, Banana Republic tops, Juicy Couture and the occasional Tahari or Joie top or dress. The prices are also good– a brand new pair of black Uggs I think retail for $ 180, were $ 80. Out of season, since it’s almost summer… but nonetheless cheap! I bought a fun beach cover-up type dress for $ 13, and a top I saw at the mall earlier this year for $ 40, for just $ 15. Teens and young adults could find lots here… or if you’re a full-fledged adult, could do some digging and find some good buys.
