I come here when I visit the boardwalk. Employees are very friendly and the bubble tea is pretty good. Also the décor is so cute

I’d give 3.5 stars if I could! The owner(male) was super nice and wanted to make sure I liked my drink, but I have to give 3 stars for the boba. Maybe I’m spoiled on Vegas boba, but it just isn’t that great. I got iced milk tea and the milk tea tastes… I don’t know — watery? It just wasn’t the best. Really great customer service though, so if I wanted Froyo id probably come here :)

I ordered mango smoothies w extra bubbles. Its worth it for .50 more cents to add the bubble(pearl tapioca). It was delicious. The locations is nice as well. They have a board walk near by.

After eating at the Vietnamese restaurant, we got some yogurt. Most if not all you’re choice said they had live cultures(healthy). The yogurt weren’t very sweet like most places. The cheesecake was okay. I added lychee jelly and honey especially to boost sweetness. Our total was about $ 6.35. A lot cheaper than anywhere else. There was a young live band setup for the night but maybe they were breaking when we stopped by. Oh well… nice spot for a date.

The lady owner is extremely rude; she speaks to customers in a condescending tone as if she’s better than them. I have been there four times, and after the fourth time I stopped coming. The lady owner made the wrong bubble tea, and then turn around and blamed her customers-she did the same thing to me twice. In addition, the lady owner has a bad attitude, and her facial expression is not very friendly. Further, her bubble tea drinks, and yogurt are not good. The bubble tea drinks are powdered, and the yogurt toppings are spoiled.

I like the Thai tea here. A bit pricey for a Thai tea compared to Thai restaurants but you can’t really complain since it has more options that Thai tea. I’ve heard the froyo is good too, I’ll have to try it next time. Overall, good Thai tea. Taking one star away for being a bit pricey.

Since this is my first time being in Charlotte, NC I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got this bubble tea. I got the taro flavor and while it was good, I could taste some of the powder and it was off putting and I didn’t like the texture. The tapioca pearls were soft enough but they didn’t taste sweet at all. They tasted like they were soaked in water and no sugar. I only visited this place because it’s near where my hotel is but if I were to ever come back, I’d try and find a different spot to get my boba fix.

Boardwalk is a wonderful place to walk around and I stopped by FruitiCup with a friend. The store is small with a few tables near the windows. I ordered a 16 oz mango milk tea with an extra scoop of boba(YESPLEASE.) My friend ordered a 16oz mocha milk tea. The price was $ 9 and some change. The mango milk tea tasted like heaven. It was delicious. The mocha milk tea was okay(I didn’t like it, but my friend did.) I loved the fact that I was able to get extra boba for only 50¢ more. I had some left over after finishing my drink and I enjoyed it. I will come back again when I’m in the area.

The yogurt is tasty, but there are a few problems. 1) it’s not frozen cold/hard enough so it comes out melty right from the start. 2) the owner is pretty stingy with the samples(which I totally understand), so he has to pour the samples himself. That means a wait if he’s making smoothies or doing anything else. One other nit… Please provide the cup dividers so I can get 3 types of yogurt without them running together. Salted caramel and tart blueberry do not mix well. The alternative will be for me to use 3 separate cups, and that will not be cost effective for the owners.

Good flavors for boba tea. Good variety of toppings for froyo. I found this place when I first moved to the Charlotte area and made me feel right at home. I will be back plenty more times. Also helps that they have a reward card.

We luckily found this place in the university boardwalk, its a small suite next to the wine vault. I was surprised to fine how cheap it was in comparison to other chains like cha for tea or lollicup. We’ve come here a few times now and I like to get the thai iced tea with no boba and half ice… I always will get half ice here because I realized they liked to rack up on ice from the first purchase. My boyfriend loves the taro(a little to starchy for me) but he gets it over ice vs. the slushy menu option. This place is great to crush your boba cravings. I wished they offered more types of tea… like green and rose teas. I have yet to try the frozen yogurt but I’m not really interested. They also have a punch card, so don’t forget to ask for one! Cheers!

It’s not easy to find boba milk tea, but here they have many flavors and they’re delicious. The owners are also very friendly. The location is right next to the university boardwalk, so it’s fun to grab some boba and go for a walk in the sun!

The best boba tea around. Service is excellent and the owner got to know me real well. Each time the flavors were amazing and they had such a friendly and warm staff. I just had to move to fort mill which makes this place a good 35 min drive and it literally makes me sad to know I can’t just go grab my tea anymore :(. I will definitely still make the drive though to get my boba tea from Fruticup instead of other places. Great prices as well!

Was in town across the street and craving some dessert. The ice cream shop next door was closed, so sampled(worker gives you the sample) the pineapple, and immediately got a very large bowl filled with pineapple and plain tart. An array of toppings, but much of it has been sitting out too long. You could already tell the mochi was going to be as stale as can be, gummy bears were so hard I almost lost a tooth. A good treat, but may need to do something about the toppings that can go bad sitting out all day. If I’m ever back in the area, I really want to try their bubble tea~

I’ve been coming to this FruitiCup for the past 5 years. They have the BEST boba in Charlotte. I’ve tried all the flavors and my favorite is the honeydew and taro. I like adding jelly to my boba and they are the only location that does this. The froyo is also delicious and I am impressed with how clean they keep the place. I’ll be coming back until I move away from Charlotte.

YES! I finally found bubble tea in Charlotte! Mind you, I literally used to have bubble tea at least every other day while living in NYC where you could find a bubble tea shop on every corner in Flushing, and one my biggest gripes has been not being able to find bubble tea in Charlotte. And lo and behold, I stumbled on Fruiticup without even looking for it! I was beyond ecstatic and marched myself in to get myself some boba. Unfortunately, it did not meet all my boba dreams. Their selection was pretty limited and all milk versions of tea and I tend to like the straight up tea with fruit infused in, but I went for a thai iced tea with boba since I was determined to not leave without trying it. Luckily, the thai tea I got made the cut and the boba was actually nicely cooked which a lot of bubble tea places don’t get right. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was also really friendly and so I would definitely come back if I were in the area, but wouldn’t take the 25 minute drive out of my way to get there. Still worth trying if you like bubble tea!

Out in University and have a craving for some frozen yogurt or bubble tea? This is definitely the place to check out. Helpful, friendly staff, free samples and reasonable prices. I got a taro«boba»(bubble) tea and got to try out their non-dairy pineapple yogurt(yes! somewhere that ACTUALLY serves vegan-friendly/non-dairy frozen yogurt!). The countertop had a do-it-yourself sundae bar with 8 different kinds of frozen yogurt and 20+ toppings. If you’re in the area and craving peanut butter ice cream(or other refreshingly different frozen treats), definitely check this place out.
