I had him replace the coil on my AC unit. He put in an oversized unit that caused my crawlspace ductwork to constantly drip water. He refused to fix it and I had to get it corrected by a qualified HVAC contractor. He even installed the oversized unit incorrectly. Waste of time and money. He won’t even attempt to live up to his 1 yr guarantee and it’s only been a month!

Completely unreliable and unprofessional. Doesn’t show up for service when he’s supposed to and a waste of your time. Save yourself the time, hassle, and money, call someone else. If your home warranty company gives him as a provider, you can ask for another company and they won’t even hesitate.

I recently purchased a home and only a few days in, my AC went out. I had to go through my home warranty, and the first company I was set up with for my emergency claim would not return a single call. My home warranty company then gave me Fred’s Heating and Cooling’s number and not only did Fred answer on the first call, he was there the same day. My boyfriend, who has a HVAC background(but couldn’t touch the unit for warranty purposes) agreed that Fred was fair, honest and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He told us other«add ons» that were optional and would make the unit more efficient but were not necessary. After being fed up with other companies, it was refreshing to meet Fred and will be calling him for future HVAC needs.
