Desired Nails

Weekend on the horizon and summer temperatures outside — enough to make you cringe when you know the only time you have to go do your nails is after work on a Thursday. The last thing I needed was to walk into a salon and wait over an hour for someone to free up.
So the search was on … I needed — an appointment! I stumbled upon Lynda’s reviews and went to her website where I was happy that I could request an appointment online. I wasn’t sure if she had accepted the appointment so I went by the salon as a courtesy to her around the requested appt. time. She had been busy all day and had not yet seen my request, it was 7:15 and she was finishing what was her last client.
I was so surprised when she said she would be finishing up in a half hour and asked if I wanted to come back since I lived around the corner. For me that was the best first impression you could ever have! She is a delight to talk to and she made sure that I was comfortable in ever way, offered wine, water, coffee, — she even asked if I wanted different music. Bottom line — if you like to book your nail appointments in advance and like the one-​on-​one service, give her a try!

Lynda is very nice and pays attention to the details and your requests! I am thrilled to have found her as I was nervous abut going back to acrylics. Super convenient location in South End. She also had a great polish and gel selection that I look forward to choosing from next time!

I found this little gem when I moved to town by doing a Vinylux provider search. The location is optimal, the business is clean, and the owner is pleasant. The thing I love is the thing that also made me give 4 stars: there is only one tech so (yes in a get-​to-​know-​you sense it’s GREAT)…in a I-​need– more-​flexibility-​and-​last-​minute services, not so good. Also, i found that for some reason my Vinylux manis did not last as long as when the salon in Miami does them; I was there (Miami) last weekend and got them done and now 5 days later = PERFECT. Alas, I will have to trade this place in for one that’s a bit closer to me and has a few more techs on hand. A definite should try place though…

I will never go anywhere else to have my nails done! Lynda is phenomenal, her service is flawless and she is incredibly sweet/​fun to talk to while you are having your nails done. The studio is spotless and my nails have never looked better. I got a shellac manicure and spa pedicure my first time I went to Lynda and not only did my feet feel the most smooth they have ever been but one month later, both the pedicure and manicure were in mint condition. I don’t know how she does it! You would be crazy to go to anyone besides her.

Wonderful experience! Lynda gives top notch personal service. I had a rare night to myself and had dinner at Luna’s. Afterwards, I searched for a nail salon close by to get a pedicure. Found Desired Nails in the same parking lot! Reviews were all 5 stars and I completely agree. There is not another place like this in Charlotte. Lynda went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, with a drink of my choice, and then began my spa pedicure. What a luxurious experience. I have not been a fan of pedis in the past, but the instruments she uses, the cleanliness of the salon, and her warm and caring manner made me want to come back regularly. She spent so much extra time, way beyond what was advertised. She is amazing and I would make the drive just to go to her again! Can’t say enough. Go! You will not be disappointed!

I loved Desired Nails! Lynda was amazing! I will 100% go back. I just moved to NC and meeting Lynda made me feel like i was home! I would recommend this place to anyone! I love it my new place for my nails!

I’ ve found my new place to get my nails done, Lynda is located in Atherton mill in southend which was super convenient for me. Her studio is very clean personable and friendly. and my nails look amazing she took the time to ask what I wanted and the look great! I’ll be back for sure.

Lynda is meticulous in her work. She takes her time and leaves you with the prettiest nails! She’s also very knowledgeable about her products and super easy to talk to. Then again, we are both from NH so we had plenty to talk about! I’ll definitely be coming back. :)

Desired Nails is the place to go if you’re looking for fantastic service and quality. I have been a client of Lynda’s for years and am thrilled that she has now opened her own salon. I have tried many other salons and spas around Charlotte and have never found anyone who even compares!
