Great converted house in Dilworth with top notch staff. One esthetician — Neff who is incredibly experienced and awesome. The massage therapists have all been practicing over 2 years, which I appreciate. They take extra time to provide «wow» service here, which is also delightful. It’s nice to have therapists who study their craft and love it, which is what you get at Day Break. I had Perry and he’s very unique and very in-​tune with each client. Highly recommend him. I know they are all good though. Owner Robert works the front and schedules appointment so it’s a true small business, definitely always a fan of supporting them! They do not offer packages or subscriptions, which I actually like, but never the less, pricing is competitive so it’s still a great option. Absolutely recommend you check this place out.

Best massage service in Charlotte! I have seen Sam 2 – 4 times each month for couple of years now. He keeps this old runner with a bad back in tip top shape and pain free. I highly recommend!

Brian Vaughn was my massage therapist and it was my first time there. It was horrible rain outside and I almost cancelled but so glad that I didn’t. It was absolutely the best massage of my life. At the end I actually begged for 15 more minutes (don’t judge me) but he had another client coming in. Will absolutely be going back. I do yoga and am physically active and he was strong but I wasn’t sore at all the next day. Brian is the best one there!

Amazing service. The staff are very professional and give great massages. Not the cheapest place, but you get a consistently amazing massage from staff who have been there a long time… unlike the cheap places that are a revolving door for staff. Highly recommended.

Sam is a true healer! Was having so much back pain and by the day after my massage, it was alleviated.

Booked a session here because my regular massage place was very full and I needed some relaxation. I booked a 60 minute day break level massage. The hot towel was a nice touch and I was able to even get in early after I completed one page paperwork. The aromatherapy not exactly what I thought it would be, they just misted some spearmint smelling liquid from a spray bottle. I do love the online booking. I’ve been going to Day Break for 3 – 4 years now and always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Perry is a very experienced therapist and has endless knowledge of techniques to draw upon based on your needs. Sara is also amazing, after telling her of a couple of problem areas, she worked on them both and made the problems go away.
My only complaint is not having enough time to get in to get worked on more often.
I will be back, again and again and hopefully soon!

Great massages. This place is not a spa, but if you are looking for a good massage to get out any kinks, this is the place to go. You can make reservations online and the prices are really good. staff is very friendly.

I went to Day Break for a birthday treat. Sarah did a wonderful job with my massage. I have been having back issues for a few weeks and it made me feel so much better. I will definitely be going back! Nephrititi (sorry if my spelling is off!) gave me such a wonderfully relaxing facial. I received compliments that day on how my skin glowed. Similar to the other reviews below, I too had a bad experience with Daybreak. I was scheduled for a Sunday afternoon massage only to be called an hour before my appointment and told that my therapist would not be in. I understand things happen, but it was incredibly bad customer service on their part to let me know so late and offer NO acceptable alternative. I booked on Sunday because that’s usually my day off. They told me they could get me in a during the week, which was the best they could do. I guess that they don’t have a deep roster of therapists they could call to take the place of the one who backed out of my appointment.
I normally go to Zen in Dilworth or Eden along South Blvd. Both places have been great every time. I figured I would try something new with Daybreak. I will not make that mistake again.

I’ve had massage therapy all over Charlotte from the toniest spas to the smallest mom and pops, but Daybreak has won my loyalty. The customer service is always spot on, and the atmosphere is just right. I especially like the affordability which allows me to use their services more often and get the therapy I need. Robert is always accommodating and helpful and Jessica is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. A recurring neck and shoulder problem is being corrected thanks to her diligent work. Visiting Daybreak always turns my week around!

I have been a client of Daybreak for over a year now and love it. The owner, Robert, always makes me feel welcome and just has great customer service in general. He has always done his best to accommodate a client like me, who doesn’t book terribly far in advance. Tammy has cleared my skin up with her amazing facials and microderm. and I LOVE getting deep tissue massages there as well. Thanks Daybreak for being my little oasis of peace.

I don’t recommend patronizing this establishment. I made and confirmed an appointment with credit card, and arrived the next day — only to encounter an unprofessional gentleman who acknowledged he’d fumbled the schedule and could not honor the appointment. Mistakes and mishaps happen, of course. How companies and stores respond to those mishaps is what differentiates solid customer service.
In this case, the associate offered no customer service recovery (read: we goofed and would like to make it up to you). The email I sent through the company’s website did not receive a response. More concerning, when my review was posted on Unilocal,the business owner contacted me suggesting I should not have shared my experience online because it could damage his business (read: a company more interested in itself than the client experience). The owner did respond on Unilocal that he’d tried to make things «rite» (as defined by an offer to rebook the appointment). There was no one else in my party. The beauty of Unilocal is that it puts information in the hands of the consumer to use as you see fit. If you desire a dependable, reliable and professional experience, keep shopping.

This is my fourth time into day break massage. The first time was with a Groupon for $ 32 for a full 1 hour massage. My therapist was Kyle, he’s only second male therapist I have had, my first at a salon in Michigan was the worst I’ve ever had, very uncomfortable. But Kyle was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I left the first time feeling great. I enjoyed it so much I got another coupon at the salon for the $ 32 offer.
My second time in, my boyfriend I did a couples massage. Out therapists were Maggie and Molly. They were fantastic. Very focused on problem areas and my pressure was great. (I’m one of those, «push as hard as you can people»).
I have also gotten a facial by Debbie, which was relaxing. I’ve never had one hour dedicated to my face, love love loved it.
I had to write as soon as I got back from day Break because I really do love the salon, and they’ve expanded which I’m so proud of them for. Again I chose Kyle, he’s one of the best massage therapists I have had since I moved to Charlotte. I will be back!
