I was a patient here over 25 years and the practice is not what it once was. The doctors no longer care about their patients and the hygienists are rude. I walked out of my last scheduled appointment because I arrived and was told they wouldn’t do the routine cleaning I was scheduled for without adding hundreds of dollars of x-​rays on top of it. I was not scheduled for x-​rays, simply a routine cleaning. The doctor wouldn’t even come in the room to discuss the charges with me, and sent the hygienist back to the room to tell me to pay the extra hundreds or leave. These doctors are only interested in taking your money — the doctor I was scheduled with that day wouldn’t even get on the phone with me until after repeated requests — even then she requested another doctor call me and was clear I was wasting her time when she finally did get on the phone with me. At that point, she defended her horrid behavior and made it clear I was wasting her time. The doctors are not interested in treating their patients with respect or courtesy and only interested in bilking as much money as they can.

I can’t put into words how much I love Cotswold Family Dentistry! I grew up with a horrible dentist and it gave me this huge paranoia about dentist offices, but the ladies at this office have completely changed how I perceive dentist appointments. Absolutely phenomenal work! They are quick, efficient, reliable, and caring. They have changed my perception so much that I actually look forward to going to their office. I’ve had cavities and have never felt a bit of pain. They work with you when you’re feeling uneasy. And they can hold pretty in-​depth conversations with you, seemingly able to understand you even when you have a mouth full of dental supplies. It’s quite impressive and very appreciated. My fiancé recently had 2 cavities filled and he was in and out in 30 minutes. Today I went in, and found out I had a small cavity. No problem. Dr. Patel asked if I wanted to take care of it right then so I said yes. With a cleaning, x-​rays, a filling, and quite a bit of nice conversation, I was out within an hour. I didn’t even need Novocaine, and I felt nothing. I have an unwavering confidence and trust in the women in this office. Being someone who would have kicked and screamed about a Novocaine-​free filling 5 years ago, when they said no numbing I didn’t even bother pushing it because I know that they know what they’re doing. If switching dentists is ever in your mind, give these ladies a visit. They never cease to amaze me.
