Atkins Circle Apartments

It has now been another 3 months for a total of 6 months that I have lived ere and have yet to have my patio ceiling fixed, and my bedroom cracks fixed… add to it now I have water spots in my ceiling.
I am beyond frustrated, I’ve put in numerous work orders, about this and apparently a contractor has to come to my apartment.
On the plus they did fix my dishwasher, after which they merely looked at the damages in my ceiling and told me about the contractor who was on site that day, well I never got a visit about my ceiling.
If I could leave a half a star I would.

If it wasn’t for the staff I would have probably rented from here. However, the office staff are just down right unprofessional. I even went as far as contacting the GM who was very friendly and helpful. I informed her that she needs to send her office staff to customer service training. I’ve worked in property management for over 15 years. Their lack of professionalism is unacceptable. It sucks to have such a beautiful community with a horrible staff. If you are searching for a new home try the surrounding complexes first.

I have lived here for almost 5 years. Good complex to live in. It definitely has changed a bit over the years. I feel like they are trying to change for the better but its taking some time. The staff can be a little brash, but so am I so it doesn’t bother me that much. It could offend other people though. The GM is great. She is always friendly and personally asks about ongoings in my life. If she would just lower my rent! Lol. The community is a good one. A lot of us hang out and do events with our family’s. Definitely check it out.

These apartments are the most reasonably priced in Ballantyne. Not to mention our neighbors rock, and our staff is pretty much amazing! If you’re in the market for a nice apartment in Ballantyne without breaking the bank, definitely check this place out!

I truly love living in Atkins Circle Apt.
I relocated here from Nebraska And initially thought the uptown area would be opportune for me and my daughter I was wrong We love the area We feel a lot more comfortable/​safe in Adkins Apt.
And the staff rocks

I would have to say I had the worst experience visiting this property. The assistant property manager was so unprofessional. As we walked through the door she did not even acknowledge us. One of the other leasing agents informed us that she was off and that we needed to wait for the Assistant Manager. The apartments are so awkward. They are so small. If you have the opportunity to view others properties do it.

Decent complex but the apartments are berber or hardwood floors which is nice for feel and cleaning… the leasing co. tends to increase rent each year by 15−20%.which is understandable but I was told before signing that that wouldnt be the case. Of course that sales manager was fired before my first year was up for renewal.

This is a great complex. Friendly neighbors, office staff and maintenance. When I first moved to Charlotte I completely overlooked Atkins Circle because of how ugly I thought it looked from Johnston Road. Once you enter the neighborhood though, it’s beautiful! The apartments are really pretty on the inside. There are two «phases» of apartments here, basically it’s one with ceiling fans and black appliances and one with no ceiling fans and white appliances. There are a ton of different layouts though. The prices are a little high, but average for living in Ballantyne (and I’ve heard they don’t raise rent much year after year). This is one of the more pet friendly neighborhoods in Ballantyne, so there are a lot of families with all different sized dogs. Both pools are very nice, usually well kept too. Although the pool by the office gets less use, so it gets a little less attention too — dirt on the bottom of the pool, dirty filters, etc. There is a fitness center that’s ok, lots of machines, but not a lot of weights and it’s smaller than it looks on the website pictures. Atkins Circle is right next door to LA Fitness, and within walking distance of a handful of restaurants. The only real downside that I’ve found is the trash compactors, usually one (or both) are broken and trash piles up next to them. Definitely worth an extra look, and a tour of the apartments!
