Wow, this place has really changed over the last few years! It used to just be a spot for the family to get ice and a few drinks or snacks on the way from the campsite to the beach, but their sandwiches have recently made it a regular stop for my wife and I, even when coming in from out of state.
In just the past year, their deli counter went from a closed-​off window to a nice open counter, and there is now outdoor seating as well. My favorite sandwhich is the Burlingame (roast beef with horseradish), but we have always enjoyed what we ordered.
Gas prices generally seem to be a bit higher than in town, but a decent alternative to driving up to Dunn’s Corner (or beyond) and back again.
