We(2 adults and 2 children) were there today since we had seen that they had a tortilla soup with vegetable stock. When we went our waitress was matter of fact and did not have a welcoming gesture/smile. We ordered the tortilla and salsa. The tortilla chips were good but the salsa was below average without any tasty flavor. When we had finished the first bowl the server did not show up for over 5 minutes to enquire if we would like some more(the place was not busy on a Wednesday night). It felt like they did not want anyone to order refill of tortilla chips(they claim it is bottomless on their menu). Apparently they do not have any spicy salsa at their place and she gave us bottles of commercially made spicy habanero sauce which was okay. We then ordered their tortilla soup which was watery without any flavors except that of tomatoes. The mexican gumbo soup at Qdoba is far better in taste than this tortilla soup. We then left this place since we didn’t feel like tasting anything more.

I came here for the second or third time, and thought, WHY don’t I come here more? I had the Red and Green Enchiladas(or something like that) and they were AMAZING. It was so nice to have a normal sized meal(even though I was stuffed after guac, the food was so good that I ate it all), not drenched in cheese sauce! Don’t get me wrong, I love things drenched in cheese sauce, but it was so nice to feel that I wasn’t clogging my arteries as I ate. Two thumbs up for sure! Side note, their chips are really good. They were warm and thin, unlike other places where they are like cold cardboard. I had the sangria, and it was so tasty. I would have had another, but being that I drank the first on an empty stomach, and it’s spiked with brandy, I thought I shouldn’t! The server was a little standoffish, or something that I can’t put my finger on, but not rude. Definitely go to Yo Bo!

The dish I ordered was good but our server never offered us anything to drink besides water and didn’t ask if we wanted dessert, either. She was nice, but service altogether was lackluster.

Yo Bo is a hidden gem West of the Ashley! I went for the first time last week, and really enjoyed it. Here’s what I liked: 1) Sit and order from the table.(I’m not a fan of giving my order and paying at the register prior to sitting). 2) The Burritos! Absolutely delicious and fresh. 3) Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. What I didn’t like: 1) terrible parking in South Windemere. I got lucky this time, but am sure this is not the norm. 2) paying for chips and salsa. This should be included with the meal.

Great food and atmosphere! Yo Bo is a perfect spot for lunch, dinner, or happy hour. My favorite thing on their menu is the rojo chicken taco, but honestly, I recommend anything with the rojo chicken. Their salsa is also delicious, but I wish it was included. Regardless, two tacos and a street corn is only about $ 11, so it’s a deal. They also have a location in Park Circle.

«¿Qué? No hay fichas gratis.» Another Tex-Mex that does not offer up salsa and chips for free when you are waiting on your meal. As I had mentioned in previous reviews I take off major points for this rather conventional offering at most other restaurants. Place was a bit dead while other restaurants adjacent on this road were bustling with business. Hmmm wonder why.

Great place! I love that the margaritas aren’t stickily sweet! Always good service and I’ve never had anything bad here. The only negative comment I heard from the group I went with was that chips and salsa weren’t included.
