Tracie’s Beauty Cottage & Day Spa

This is the worst spa experience that I have ever had. We were quoted one price but as the services progressed charges were added. That is called bait and switch and I will be contacting the WV Attorney General about this matter. I will also be filing reports with the BBB. I have never taken the time to write a bad review about a business but this was a horrible experience. I have been to amazing spas around the world and expect to pay for great service. This was a nightmare. The owner is a liar and a cheat. She also insisted that her credit card machine had been down for more than a week and that we needed to pay in cash. She never mentioned that during our two phone calls to book the appointment. Our first clue to run out the door was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke when we walked in. Instead we gave it a chance and hoped for the best. The experience was the worst ever. It is a run down hovel with filthy looking towels and sheets. Everything is stained and needs to be replaced. Save yourself the time and money and go to any other spa in town. It has to be better than Tracie’s. The only saving grace was that my massage therapist did a great job.
