I, unfortunately, have had to order flowers twice this week due to deaths much too close together. FORTUNATELY, this is a WONDERFUL florist with extremely fast delivery and beautiful arrangements. I put in my order at 10:30 a.m. and the order was delivered to my friends’ before noon! I am SO pleased with this business. I will never use another florist again! Thank you, Seithel’s!

Great flower shop! Lots of different plants and selection of flowers at great prices. I bought roses 10 days ago and they still look great. Seithels is my new go to florist.

Stopped in on a rainy day for flowers for mom after her surgery and they had a gorgeous affordable vase and flowers that smelled up the whole car in the best ways! Very friendly employees for such a gloomy day!

I called(rather last minute) to get some flowers for Valentine’s day. The person that answered the phone was very nice, and accommodated my late order with no issues. When I went to pick up the arrangement, the person at the counter was extremely pleasant. The arrangement that I ordered was exactly what I wanted, and the price was great(especially since it seems a lot of other places mark up prices around this time). It was less than half of the price that all of the online flower places quoted(1800flowers, FTD, etc) — and, I’m sure the arrangement I got was twice as good as what would have come from those places as well.

I received a $ 79.99 arrangement from my husband through 1−800-FLOWERS, which was over $ 95 total with the deliver and service fees. What I received was a sloppy arrangement with a lot of filler that was not worth even $ 39.99. When my husband emailed 1−800-FLOWERS to make a complaint, they responded immediately stating they would have a new arrangement sent and issue us a gift certificate for use in the future. Shortly after, I was contacted by a rep from Seithel’s Florist explaining that the arrangement they made was what I ordered and the reason it looked different was because the blooms were still in bud form. They said they would redeliver an arrangement that was in full bloom and would pick up the old arrangement. When I explained I took the arrangement home and could not bring it back until the following day, they said they would just reschedule the deliver the following afternoon — 3 days after the arrangement was ordered and well into our frustration with this whole situation. This is not the first time we have ever ordered or handled flowers. I know what florists charge for arrangements in Charleston as well as in big cities. The fact that this florist treated me like I didn’t understand her simple business of flower arranging is an insult. I did not question the florist who called me because I was in shock at her lack of customer service skills and did not feel like I needed to defend myself from a service provider for a gift I was receiving. As a service person, she should have remedied the situation as soon as possible and gone above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. What she failed to realize is the building she was delivering the flowers to has over 500 employees in it. These employees are passing these flowers all day long while they sit with my receptionist who is taking pleasure in announcing that the arrangement was $ 95. The Seithel’s Florist tag is still on it just as it was when delivered. I plan on buying a new pair of shoes with our refund from 1−800-FLOWERS. Cheers! P. S.
