This is one of the smaller taprooms in Charleston, but the beer and brewers more than make up for it! They brews fantastic(and some very unique) beers, and if the pork belly sliders are on the specials board when you’re there — you need to give them a try! I am also a huge fan of all the art on the walls both inside and out. Revelry is really a fun place to hang out! What to try: Gullah Cream Ale, Oatmeal Stout, or Flaming Mallow

A solid brewery with some great options on tap. Revelry is one of those places that is making Charleston a real craft beer oasis in a desert of Bud Light enthusiasts in the south.

‚I see three stars because I believe this place has promised however when I arrived on a Sunday 50% of their beers had already been finished so I had a choice from and West Coast IPA and an ale. So far I have not seen much complexity and the ipas I’ve been drinking in Charleston I don’t think that is their go to beer. There have been some reviews about this place being douchebags. I can’t guarantee that but I can guarantee that there are flies and I am not sure why we’ve been trying to figure it out. Meh West coast IPA Ale-derly Go Live music Scene

I stopped in on a Sunday for the release of their new beer Quantum Leap, which was phenomenal. The ambiance was great, from the music to the art, great vibe. The thing that really stole my heart was the grilled pb&j. The only downside that I saw was the lack of seating. I will definitely return

Disclaimer, we only went to Holy City and Revelry during our stay, so I have to just compare the two. Honestly, I think this place wins, by a pretty big margin. The Ale-Derly was damn near perfect(so much so that we got one of the small growlers to take home, only 9 bucks for a little over 2 pints, and an adorable as hell mini-growler…I wonder how many places will honor filling that up?) and the Breakfast and Brunettes was how any sort of coffee beer should be done(local Kudu coffee too!). The atmosphere was open and inviting, bay doors wide open to take in the Charleston air. It was also a nice perk to watch the kickball team play on this Sunday afternoon. Can’t wait for these guys to get a bit bigger!

Revelry Brewing is slowly becoming the go to party spot for casual laid back fun and entertainment. Like many of our Charleston Breweries, they produce a wide range of great small batch craft beer options. The staff is very consistent with the laid back culture of the brewery. There is ample parking in their little spot off of Meeting Street and exceptional partnerships with the community. With pop up Ramen, environmental meetings, chef demonstration and last evenings crazy Purim party, they are shaping up to be the place to be for unique party events in the Charleston community. Way to go Revelry. Well done. We are glad you are here.

Not a bad spot, with some good beers(and some just OK beers) and probably would have been a lot better on a day that wasn’t uncharacteristically 40 degrees. The space inside around the bar was a little limited, with everyone trying to gather around the heaters inside(I don’t think there was one person outside in the wind, that didn’t have to be because they had brought their dog) and it took quite a long time to get a drink because of this. Will definitely give it another go, as it looked like a great spot to sit outside with your mates and drink some beers, but it really is more of a warm day place.

Great location for a brewery! Great atmosphere and space. The art-work inside and out is really cool. Sunsets look great as the outdoor seating is next to the park with plenty of Palmetto trees. They have really worked hard at making it a nice hang-out spot as it’s a comfortable brewery that isn’t just filled with a bunch of dudes talking beer. The beer was nice too. A wide selection of about 10 beers. I wasn’t to impressed with the beer, but I’m extremely tough in that area, so chances are you’ll find something you will like. There was some light food fare offered as well.(Although I didn’t try any food) Definitely in the Top 5 Breweries to visit in Charleston!

Great afternoon patio vibes. Caught some live music, owners and brewers are friendly and mingling. I’m personally not into beer but they had a really good list that is constantly changing. Happy hour is fun with meat and cheese/dips for apps. They also have a house red and house white wine for non beer people like myself. Over all neat place slightly off the beaten path in downtown.

Wow Revelry brewing is amazing. Covert Ops-Best dunkel weisse I have ever had and funkmaster brett, the Belgian IPA is very well balanced not sour with a nice funk, worth a visit. Smoke Show rauchbier is smokey, meaty and yummy. Great location and loved the atmosphere Highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys craft beers. Pretzel bites and flatbread pesto were very good

5 Stars for Atmosphere! We went on a night with live music and had so much fun dancing to the band in the outdoor patio area and generally just chilling at this place! I tried a few of their brews and really love the strong and seasonal ales, especially. These are sophisticated, structured beers — you can tell that Revelry really knows how to brew a good beer with a more refined process than some of the newer breweries in the area. These people aren’t going anywhere — they’ve got a great, friendly space, solid beers, an impressive and appropriate food selection(I didn’t try anything but everything looked and smelled GOOD), creative and fun merchandise, and fun live music /entertainment to keep folks a’comin! I will definitely be going back to Revelry in the very-near future — hopefully, I’ll see you there too!

Out of all the breweries I’ve visited in Charleston [Frothy, Holy City, Palmetto and Freehouse] Revelry is by far my favorite. Just a short drive from downtown and fairly close to Palemtto, for those of you looking to brewery-hop, Revelry is inviting with a good selection of space and a clean but relaxed space. I love the extra details: the outdoor patio space and large garage doors that open up to the bar. The old piano that takes up part of the bar space with plenty of seats directly at the bar as well as the outside seating and another high-top seating area. For those of you looking to catch a game, they do have two tv’s as well. Revelry has a flight option but you can also just sample something before purchasing. While they might not have been the best beers I’ve had, I did enjoy the Funkmaster Brett & The Furious Hops(one of the first Belgian IPA’s I’ve had) as well as the Conjured Memories(winter ale), but Revelry’s large selection has options for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to eat {although Revelry does offer food} or grab another beer post Revelry, I highly recommend Edmund’s Oast. Let’s just say they have 48 beers on tap! Overall, Revelry is definitely a brewery you should visit if you’re looking for a chill space and good beer, plus it doesn’t hurt that it’s conveniently located to downtown but far enough that it will only attract craft beer hunters.

Revelry is one of my sister’s favorite places to go in Charleston. The brewing area takes up most of the space, with a bar and a small seating area inside and a number of picnic tables outside. When we went last week, there was live music outside and leftover birthday cake inside. Who wouldn’t feel welcome with those going on? She didn’t realize there were flights available, so instead we each had a half pour(I had God’s Favorite, a Belgian strong ale, and she had Dr. Shepard’s Specialtea) and a piece of cake(thanks to the aunt of one of the bartenders — it was delicious!). We then shared a glass of the Gaslight Porter. I was happy with everything but would definitely do a flight next time.

Finally made it out to Revelry and it honestly was because of the John Lewis barbeque. That by itself was amazing! Can’t wait until his restaurant opens! Anyways, they had a great lineup of beers at Revelry today especially in this crazy hot weather. They had a few sours, some wheat beers and some light IPAs but everything was great.

I’ve had their brews all over town, but I recently made a trip over to the brewery to check it out. I had a meeting and was bummed to see that they were closing early for a private party. Great thing was that even though it started at 6pm, nobody bothered us and we finished our beers at an outside table… thanks, and congrats to all those MUSC Pharmacy Grads! The tasting room area is a little small, but they’ve got plenty of brews flowing. Make your selection and a friendly beer vendor tugs on a red trumpet until he strikes liquid gold(if you think about it, that’s exactly what’s happening). The tasting room is open aire a la Holy City Brewing and there’s a plethora of tables outside. Post up at one and chug your way through the horn section!

Awesome brewery pub house where you can sit down and sample all the beers that revelry brewing puts out it’s got a really cool bar and you can totally tour and see the whole brewery production it’s really fun place with cool outdoor seating and there’s always some kind of food truck or car around to offering different food items so it’s kind of fun to come back and see what’s happening. Everyone here is really nice they always have cool music playing and it’s just always a fun experience every time I’ve come here so I waited for a few times before I posted my review but I have to say gets five stars you should deathly come check this place out when visiting downtown Charleston if you’re into the craft beer thing.

Revelry Brewing is excellent. I was on vacation in Charleston, and the bf and I thought it would be great to visit a few breweries. We visited on a beautiful Sunday — here there are picnic tables outside, and a garage type door was open, so even inside you got to enjoy the weather. I got the Farmhouse ale(really good, decently priced, and also comes in at a whooping 7ish%). At some point, a lovely singer/songwriter began playing, and he was really good! The bartenders were super friendly — when they heard us talking about visiting a beach, they even pointed us to the likely best ones. If I’m ever in Charleston again, I would return.

2.5 stars. I got a taster set of beers(4 beers for $ 10), and I wasn’t impressed with any of them. Considering that they were a hefty $ 2.50 per taster, this was quite disappointing that I found their beers to have no special quality to them. I really liked the mural above the taps, and the outside seating looked like it would have been inviting in warm weather. But, neither of these can make up for my disappointment in the beer tasters. NOTE: Full pints were a very reasonable $ 5, and half pints were $ 3. So, if one is able to find a beer they like, going there for full or half pints is a fine deal. But I was there for tasting, and hence my disappointment.

We’ll I’m pretty impressed by Charleston’s newest brewery. Lots of different styles and beers to chose from on tap. Parking is a breeze and the location was quite easy to find with my phone. You can find their beers in Columbia if you know where to look.
