I love five guys. If you want a good greasy burger made the way you want and awesome fries. … this is the place. The service is what you’d expect from a good fast food joint too. There is a reason why they win so many awards.

Incredible burgers and an avalanche of fries. I recommend going Cajun with your fries. It’s just a great burger place. Seriously.
The soft drink machine must be from Japan, because the amount of selection is ridiculously wonderful.

I wish I could say something bad about this place, because I know it’s not the best food for you, BUT I love everything about this place, the people are nice, fast and you can eat nuts while you wait! haha… I go here at least once a month if not more.
I get a double Cheeseburger and medium fries (which is a ginormous order of fries for two) so gooood. I did try a hot dog recently, they don’t serve it with chili/​slaw. They split it, and cook it like spam, interesting, but honestly it was very good.

Food is very quickly served (especially if you order it before you get there), but the fries are always fresh!
I really adore the fries here since they are always fresh, never burnt and only rarely undercooked. However, I will pass on the advice of all my coworkers (which I disregarded and found to be true): YOU DO NOT NEED A LARGE FRY! Imagine, if you will, a large soda cup. Now imagine that cup full to overflowing with fries. That is a small. A large is more like a take-​out bag full of fries.
That said, I’m just not impressed with the burgers, hotdogs, or sandwiches. They aren’t bad, but they’re disappointingly mediocre compared to the french fries. For that reason, I hardly ever go here.

Best burgers in Charleston! Fast and friendly. You’ll pay a bit more but the money is in the freshness and quality of the food. I’ll be eating here forever.

Good, fresh-​sourced burgers with a lot of condiment options (my favorite is a cheese burger with jalapenos, relish, tomato, and mayo). The burgers are on the big side and taste outstanding — but even the most basic burger will set you back $ 5.
There is no extra cost or limit to the amount of toppings and condiments you can add from the impressive selection.
Cajun spices can be requested for the fries. Get it on the side and sprinkle to taste.
Free peanuts in the shell while you wait — or to replace fries.
Tip: If two people are dining, just get one order of fries and split them. Me and my GF (we both love fries) can never finish a single order split. This will save $ 5 from the total bill.
