Growing up just outside of Philly, D.D. Pecker’s is an awesome spot that brings me back there. Watching Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies games here is always fun. The food here is great, from wings to cheese steaks(using good bread is hard to find here in Charleston) and the beer selection is always rotating. I’ve made several friends in the bar because the people are always so friendly!

Great beer selections with daily drafts. Good wings! They are the small ones, which I love. Got the 25 with 5 flavor choice. Would have loved a whole order of the Hot Gold, they were great! Overall, good experience with good service!

God awful!!! First they say dogs are allowed… then they tell me I can’t have him sit in bag beside me. He was being quiet and making ZERO noise. Waitress is super rude!!! Probably checked on us on the patio once every twenty minutes!!! Will never go back. Ever. Ever. I am a really great tipper but I did not leave a good tip. Sorry I’m not sorry!!!

My husband and I were in Charleston for a weekend getaway, looking for a casual late night sports bar with good food and we found it! The concierge at our hotel recommended dd peckers and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food for a hole-in-the-wall sports bar. The wings were big and well-seasoned, the fries were hand cut and the salad was not your usual limp iceberg lettuce; it actually had a spring mix and house made ranch dressing, which was delicious! The only things keeping it from 5 stars were the burger, while nice-sized, it was over done(the server didn’t ask how my husband wanted it) and the house made bleu cheese, which was disappointing, especially considering how good the ranch was. It was watery and didn’t have much flavor. Overall a very good experience!

As a Philly native, I love going to dd Pecker’s for Sunday football. It is, to put it bluntly, a Philly bar. There are always tons of eagles fans there as well as a bunch of other fans from different cities including DC, MD, and more. It’s not unwelcoming for any city’s team, which I think is awesome, but the big screen always plays the birds making it the best place to watch Philadelphia sports! The place is owned by two guys that are from the Philadelphia area and they have tried to make it as northern as possible with their food selection and restaurant environment. There is a small parking lot with additional spots at the strip mall next door which isn’t easy on weekdays but not bad on Sundays. Service is slow due to high volume and be prepared to wipe down your own table. Great environment for sports fans.

Service wasn’t bad. The food was. The teriyaki wings were burnt and terrible and the honey barbeque wings had a terrible flavor. If you’re looking for good wings avoid this place at all costs until they hire new cooks.

Went for lunch here today. Place was packed for the football games, but our service was still good. We ordered the garlic wings and the Fio burger with chips. The chips are homemade and came out hot and were just delicious. The garlic sauce on the wings was outstanding and my burger was cooked perfectly medium just like I ordered it.

We returned to this place from eating here during a previous vacation. It is a little divey but the service and the food was really good. We had fried pickle spears, wings and fries. All was very delicious! The server was very attentive! I would highly recommend!

4 separate occasions, different times of day, mid-week and weekend… Not a good experience. Wrong orders, having to wait for new one, server makes us feel bad about it. Uncomfortable! Food not coming how we’d requested/specified(no cheese, condiments on the side, well done, no ice in my drink please, forgotten order/appys… All ignored). And, when we voiced our concern, getting brushed off instead of offering to fix it is NOT cool in my books, AND expected to pay for the mistakes we didn’t eat! Nearly empty place on one occasion, we asked the TV in front of us be on a specific channel/sports game(no one else watching) but told«no», sorry… Moments before that, the channel was changed on that very same TV.(Really?! Every pub I’ve ever been in, this wouldn’t have been an issue!) Smokers immediately outside the doors, so everyone enter/exiting had to breathe it in. Dirty in general. More specifically & notably, the bathroom and our table. Wings were dry, tiny, cold, gross… Needless to say, we’ve given up on this place. Not recommend.

Not wanting typical chain fare we spotted this place on the way Charleston from Savannah on US17 just south of town. It appeared to be a local joint and is. We ordered up a order of Buffalo Tater tots and they were very good and spicy with a side of bleu cheese dressing. The only down side was they got soggy pretty quick. My Mrs. had a cheddar cheeseburger to big to eat and the Carolina pulled pork sandwich which was also to big to eat but both were delicious and sadly had to leave the left over as we were traveling. If your ever heading north on 17 make sure to stop and eat with many craft brews available.

A sports bar bar thats a little on the dive side of the restaurant spectrum. I tried some wings and their fries. They have some great hand cut fries that were seasoned well and a nice mixture of soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. I tried their teryiaki wings(grilled) and their hoisin and honey wings. I like having the option of getting a wing grilled, however these didnt turn out like I would have wanted them to. The sauce had a great flavor the but the wings were a bit on the rubbery side, I think the girll could have been hotter to get a better grilled flavor. I was really looking forward to the hoisin and honey wings, as that is a flavor combo I could get behind. However, what I got looked terrible. The hoisin left the wings looking like they were burned. Luckily they didnt taste burnt, but they were really lacking any depth of flavor. The wings ended up being extra crispy honey wings. The wings were not bad, but I would try some different flavors next time and avoid grilled wings. I would come back to try some of their sandwiches, I know my wife really enjoyed her salad.

This place is a solid little neighborhood sports bar with really good wings and a really good bar and Grill type of menu it’s got plenty of TVs in the staff is pretty cool and super local and quirky and the hold the core of the place is pretty fun and funky I would give it foreign a half stars if possible what keeps it from being five stars is it can be a little bit pricey I think for the neighborhood type of feel and the bathrooms can certainly use a remodel

Very good wing shack. I am local and tried all the wings in charleston… This by far is the best! Try the magic dust or lemon pepper. Great buffalo sandwich and fried mushrooms! Good beer selection too.

Okay so I came back even after being«food disappointed» and had a really great meal! The Cuban sandwich is delicious! It takes the place of ms roses Cuban sandwich on my top Cuban sandwich list! And usually my food disappointment overshadows the rest of the experience at places but today I was really able to appreciate the rotating craft beer selection they offer. I’m a changed woman.

The Hoisin Honey wings tasted good and was a different flavor than what I am uses to in other wing places. Had plenty of tvs and the atmosphere was a good one for the US vs Germany game. The service is what caused the three star. It wasn’t packed and I got checked on but she only asked as she was walking not even stopping as she talked. Kinda seemed as if I was an ex boyfriend that she disliked, but I am from out of town so that wasn’t the case. The food came out slightly longer than expected also, but I was fine with that. Another woman took my payment at the end of my time there. She seemed to have better customer service skills but I got the pleasure of having the unpleasant one.

D.D. Peckers is a sports bar. There are a number of dips to wet your appetite and the tradition beer selections to choose from. You can watch games on the patio or inside and have a few beers. You can even pair beer and jagermeister. What more can you want. It is a very casual setting and if you are from the Philly area, this is your bar. They are big, big fans of the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and more. Bring your appetite or thirst and watch some sports at this nice sports bar right on Savannah Highway in West Ashley. You can always go to Chik Fil A if you are still hungry right next door.
