The hotel was fine. Front desk staff very friendly, rooms clean, overall a pleasant stay. My one complaint is about The Bistro. I was leaving at around 8am with a 7 hour drive ahead of me. I asked the employees at The Bisto, the evening before, if we could get a tuna salad sandwich in the morning and was told«yes». After waiting in line behind 6 people the next morning, I wanted to order sandwiches and was told«no, we only make breakfast sandwiches now». When I stated that I was told this could be done, the employee just shrugged her shoulders. Frustrating!

Was traveling from Michigan to Home in North Carolina, needed a safe comfortable place to sleep. I found it, this Courtyard really exceeded my expectations! Clean Stylish building and Room, looked to be pretty new Felt very secure, got a chance to relax in the pool, grabbed a beer from the lobby Market and enjoyed the view from my room. I slept so well, it was very quiet, despite the hotel being full. The staff very friendly and helpful.

I stay at these properties often for business and was very excited to be at one very new. Being a statused rewards member, I expect a certain standard for Marriott properties. 2÷8÷16 When I got to my room I noticed the shower door being held up by some tools the carpenters left. The worst part of my stay was the next morning there was absolutely no hot water in the hotel. I was so mad having an important business meet with no shower. I might add is was 16 degrees. On the way out I mentioned to the clerk this was unacceptable and wanted to talk to the manager. He said, sorry there is no Manager and couldn’t help. He also made up some excuse about the pipes freezing up. What he didn’t know was the in the elevator told me it’s been like this for a couple days. SHAME on Marriott for not warning us before we checked in.
