Pretzel and Wisconsin beer cheese was superb. Kids enjoyed their sundaes and we’re all given frisbees. Great place!

My family ate here this evening, and the food and service were excellent! I had their special, which was a sweet volcano burger. It was very flavorful and unique. My dad and fiancé were very enticed by the 10 different kinds of slaw(I think they managed to try 6 kinds all together) which was cool and unique. We tried the liquor milkshakes also – I had the nutcracker and it was very good! I had been wanting to try this place for awhile, and I’m glad we finally were able to stop in. We’ll be back!

Staff was really nice, but sadly we didn’t get to try because they only use latex gloves and I have a latex allergy. Really bummed about that because the food looked good.

Not impressed at all! I had high hopes for Blossom as they used to be a Charleston classic, but went on a Sunday for brunch and was very disappointed in the low quality food. Portions were small, and food was bland.

Stumbled upon this place. Glad we did. Service was good and polite. Food was good. We had pulled pork sandwich, Ruben, cheeseburger salads, chips and chili. All was made fresh and tasted good. I will go back if i have the opportunity.

Cool atmosphere, and possibly the best French dip I’ve ever had. The slaw was great as well.

Blossom rocks! They’ve even replaced the ketchup with Heinz – now Blossom Dairy is perfect!

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed our first visit to the new Blossom. The Art Deco décor and Sinatra playlist gave it the old-school downtown vibe. We got there between lunch & dinner service on a Sunday afternoon, so we had the place to ourselves. We tried the zucchini straws app. They are delish but the serving size is small for the price. I had the Italian Cubano sandwich with the Tropical Slaw on the side. The sandwich is a nice size, but not too big — served on a typical hoagie bun. It’s very meaty with pork, ham and pepperoni. The menu said it had provolone cheese on it, but the cheese flavor got lost in all the salty meat. Next time I’ll ask for this sandwich without pepperoni. The Tropical slaw was fruity and creamy, but not cloyingly sweet. Very balanced and yummy! Even my 13-year-old, who is not a slaw fan, kept going back for forkfuls! I put the slaw and deli-style pickle slices on the sandwich, which added a nice acidity and crunch! I saved half the sandwich for tomorrow’s lunch, because I’m watching portions, but most people would readily devour the whole thing. My daughter had the bacon cheeseburger and garlic slaw. The cheeseburger was good, and a decent size! She ate it without condiments– a testament to the flavor. The garlic slaw was another hit — not over powerful. Hubby tried the Reuben. It was good. Not stacked with corned beef like I prefer, but flavorful. I would order it on another visit. The cherry vanilla milkshake he ordered tasted like Valentine’s Day in a glass! The service provided by Joanna was cheerful, efficient, yet laid back and unobtrusive. She made suggestions when asked and was overall welcoming and informative. The only reason I withheld one star is for overall value. The portion sizes on the app and my husband’s Reuben were too small, and the floats and milkshakes taste great but are overpriced. Otherwise, The new incarnation of The Blossom is a strong dining option downtown!

Blossom Dairy was a local favorite growing up in Charleston, so I was excited when it recently reopened. The retro charm has been preserved outside and inside, and the menu has classic diner food with a few twists, like alcoholic milkshakes and several kinds of slaw. My first visit was for Sunday brunch and it was crowded! The service was fine and I was pleased but not blown away by their pulled pork and tropical slaw. Sadly, it was too early for hard liquor but my fiancé got a nice root beer float and we vowed to try the milkshakes later. This weekend we went for dinner around 8 pm and it was empty, so food arrived quickly and our server was attentive. My Reuben sandwich was thick with yummy corned beef but instead of sauerkraut they put German slaw, which actually complemented it well. The chips came with beer cheese and were much better than fries. We were full but had to try some dairy, of course! Went with the hot fudge sundae and Kahlua milkshake, both highly recommended.

I wrote a review already and it got deleted– very shady. Their Reubens and Rachels DONOT have kraut on them– beware! If that’s changed, I’d appreciate a heads up so I can try them and edit my review accordingly. Two stars for the great service and yummy tomato/crab bisque. If they start putting kraut on Reubens/Rachels my rating will probably go up.

Solid dinner options. I wolfed down a baked steak. The highlight for the whole family was milkshakes — shakes with a kick for my wife and me and chocolatey shakes for the kids. Attentive service by Tanith.

The food was a 4. The ambience and waitress(Tamith, I believe — she was especially wonderful with the kids) were a 5+. Really fun experience. Looking forward to next time!

I came in Friday night and it was EXTREMELYBUSY. Full restaurant, on a wait(not too bad). Our server was overwhelmed, but did the best he could under the circumstances. The food was perfect! Made sure to seek out the Chef(I think he said Brison). Really super guy, obviously running a very tight ship(there was no doubt he was the leader). He took the time to talk to us and make us feel at home, even though he was VERYBUSY. I know its just the first week, so some hiccups are expected. But they seemed to hold it together, and I’m sure it’ll get there. We’ll be back!

My family and I visited Charleston. To spend the weekend with my daughter. That attends college there in the city. We like to trying different restaurants. I found this restaurant on Unilocal.Decided to give it a try. Overall it was good. Couple of things could be changed. The place was nice and retro. A little dark inside. Had some problems seeing the menu. The waitress was real friendly. Our food came in descent time. This is were a couple of things could change. Need more choices for sides. Not much to choose from. I ordered the club sandwich. Most bread on a club sandwich is toasted. The bread was regular non-toasted white bread. The sandwich was good until the bread turned to mush. Due to the mayonnaise seeping through the bread. Nothing else comes with this sandwich. Except a small(ketchup cup) jar of tropical coleslaw. It would of been nice to have a side. The chips that came with the food for other members of my party. Were mixed reviews. Some had crunchy chips. Some had soft chips. We all ate our food. Even added some ice cream float and shakes. Hopefully with this being a new restaurant. They will get the kinks worked. I will give it another chance.
