If you are looking for information or any excitement over your pregnancy, this practice is not for you. I entered this practice at 7 weeks pregnant. My husband and I moved over to West Ashley and I felt it was a good time to make the transition. I will not mention my Dr, but we walked in very nervous/​anxious/​excited (as our pregnancy was planned) as most new pregnant patients are. The waiting room and facilities are sub par and the whole staff seems like they are just doing their jobs to get thru the day so they blandly called us back and we waited in the room for the Dr. We walked back to the room and the Dr gave us no information, no congratulations, no «fluff» at all, told us we were pregnant and sent us on the way. This got worse and worse with each visit. My Dr gave me little to NO information as the months progressed. They never called me about lab results (on top of never really telling me where to go), never told me what to eat/​not eat/​how to best take care of myself. I had to ask things like «Did my glucose come back ok?» «How is my blood pressure» etc. things I had only heard to ask via the internet. I spent most of my pregnancy researching things on the internet – thank you ‘The Bump.’ She would ask me if I had any questions instead of giving me information, like I knew what to ask (1^st pregnancy) and my appts consisted of her checking the heartbeat, asking if I was «feeling ok» and sending me on my way. There was never anything mentioned about birth defects/​what to look for when things aren’t right, etc etc. The last time was the last straw as I was 30 weeks pregnant. At that point, I was starting to have questions about pre-​labor etc. and in the middle of answering my questions, she looked at her watch like I was getting in her way. I have never been so disappointed and should have changed Drs months ago. I regret every second I spent at this office and do not recommend them to anyone. We are now using MUSC – which is what we should have done in the first place and I plan on enjoying the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy with Drs who really care.

Dr. Pallay is a wonderful doctor. I felt very comfortable with her and the entire office staff was very friendly and helpful. Just moving here 6 months ago, I couldn’t be more pleased with finding such a nice office.

I love Dr. Noriega and the staff here. And here’s why:
Blue cross can s my d because they out up dr. Noriega as in my network but then denied me coverage and claimed they made a mistake by having her on my list but refused to pay for their mistake.
The staff at this office fought for me. The manager called blue cross and tried her best to get everything straightened out. They really cared about how the insurance company was screwing me and it was nice to have someone so personable try to help me.
In the end blue cross still screwed me but we tried.
Dr. Noriega was super personable, funny, and comforting. No one likes getting the stirrups so its refreshing to have a dr. that makes the best of it.
I recommend her to everyone, she really was awesome.
