Edgewood Plantation

My friend and I stayed here for a «girls night» and it was awesome! One of the owners, Dot, was so warm and funny and she gave us a lovely tour. She was super attentive and even got us tea and wine to relax with that evening! And she had great suggestions of where to go in Williamsburg.
The property itself is well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in Dolly’s room which is actually located in a cottage in the back of the property but there are plenty of gorgeous rooms available inside.
They were also very attentive to my dietary needs. I have celiac disease so they made sure to make something I could eat for breakfast.
I highly recommend this place to everyone. It’s gorgeous and the owners are absolute peaches. The holiday décor was amazing, so I suggest going in the winter time. We loved it, we’ll definitely be back!

Took a tour of this warm homey place and i absolutely loved it. dot is a blast to be with. we left with the sense of spiced apples and family. i cant wait to stay here!

My wife and I eloped at Edgewood this weekend, and it was an unbelievable experience. Dot, Julian, and Candy had everything together for us, including setting John up as the officiant. I mean everything. We were stunned from the time we walked in the front door. The decoration for Christmas was BEAUTIFUL, the hospitality unmatched, the room inviting and comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic.
We will definitely return!

Very cozy and comfortable. I grew up in the area and have always loved the house. Now it’s my ‘home away from home’ when I visit. Large rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts and charming and helpful hosts.

Best B&B there is run by the best woman in the south. We love you, Dot. Totally understand why the ghosts don’t want to leave. Absolutely beautiful and you feel totally at home. Make sure you eat at Charles City Tavern, right down the road. Such a great spot and the food is amazing. Worth it.
