John K Tener Library

Welcome to Charleroi PA. The location of this library is right in the middle of the town and is really the only business that allows individuals to meet up at.
The building was a post office at one point in its life, then was converted to a Library. Inside you can see the old architecture, and the beauty of this building really shows through the dust, mold, and trash. This building is in need of serious upkeep, and it’s sad to see that no one is helping.
What really had me give this library such a low rating, that in addition to the crumbling building, it also had two turtles living in a 2×2 tank and a set of birds in a small cage. This is not the place for animals, especially in such awful conditions!
