Aura Salon

The salon is very nice and clean. The woman who did my hair was very nice and did a good job. When I made the appointment, I told the woman that I had a living social voucher. She made the appointment for me but never told me that there would be a balance. When the job was done (very nice but nothing spectacular…) I gave the woman at the register the voucher. She hit me with a balance of $ 125.00 (plus what I had paid for the voucher. I was never told when making the appointment that there would be a balance. I will never go back.

I tried Aura Salon for the first time in January for a blowout and Leticia did an amazing job! I recently moved back to Westchester I found them through Natural Awakenings mag bc I was looking for a salon that uses organic color. From the moment you walk into Leticia’s gorgeous salon you feel at home. It’s beautiful wood finish and pristine artistic design that is well lit with natural sunlight feels as if you are stepping into a magical tree house. The staff is warm and friendly and they immediately made me feel comfortable the moment I got there. Daniella and Amy are excellent and I always feel welcome when I am greeted at the door to the careful way they care for my hair.
When living in Manhattan I would get frequent blowouts from my stylist and was accustomed to a certain style. Not only did Leticia do a fantastic job, it was the best blowout I ever received! She also gave me an excellent cut a few weeks later to clean up my layers. I then met Lastenia, the senior expert colorist at Aura Salon. She was very patient and listened carefully to my needs and what I desired for my color. It took me a few weeks to decide on making the move, and I am so happy I did! Lastenia took her time and was meticulous and it came out fabulous! The color was natural and beautiful and blended well with my previous highlights. I highly recommend this full service natural salon for anyone looking for a fresh start to spring!

Went for a blowout because they’re open on a Monday. The woman was nice, but the blowout took forever and she didn’t give me what I asked for. I won’t go back.

Leticia is fabulous! She does an AMAZING job with my highlights, and she is the only person I trust to cut my hair. Everyone at the salon is very friendly, and they make you feel at home. I have very hectic work and personal schedules but they are always very accommodating to my needs. Besides routinely coloring my hair, Leticia has styled my hair for several special occasions and I have loved the result each time. She did a beautiful job styling my hair, recently, for my wedding. I absolutely loved how it came out. I felt confident and beautiful, and received many compliments throughout the day. Besides being professional, Leticia is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a professional and talented hairdresser.

Rosalba did a GK smoothing process for me. It looked great. After I washed my hair there was a terrible odor coming from my hair. I called the salon. They said this only happened to one other client. They told me to come in for a conditioning treatment which would deal with the odor. Well, it didn’t. Their attitude was well this is the proces and sometimes it happens and no one knows why. They were happy that I would just go away a nd I was leaving for Florida the next day anyway. The process cost appro $ 350. I will NEVER use this salon again. Obviously, they don’t know their products and they don’t really care! This was MY experience. I went to this salon because of other good reviews. I’m sorry I did!

I visited aura a few weeks ago and Rosalba was unavailable — I was hesitant to switch stylists but had no other choice. Unfortunately, I left unhappy with my cut. I called the owner a week later and she scheduled another appointment with Rosalba for the next week. I went in yesterday. She fixed the cut! She is an awesome stylist. Kind and patient. She spent about an hour making it right! Thank you! Thank you :)

I Have been going to Aura for about 1 year. So far I have been getting the best haircuts I have ever had. I used to leave other salons with tears in my eyes because the haircuts were so awful. NOT HERE. Rosalba is the most patient and talented hair cutter I have come across in years. I can’t go to anyone else. I also love having Ana’s nails right downstairs in the same building. Ana is so sweet and accommodating. Having my nails done by Ana is the best part of my day.. Good parking too.

I love Aura! Ask for Kathleen — she is awesome at what she does. This is a comfortable and stylish salon that really makes you feel welcome. Kathleen is amazing and took time to make sure my previously damaged hair was healthy and beautiful. She is to talented and really has an eye for the perfect style, cut, and color. The salon itself is really beautiful and the décor and atmosphere help you relax. The owner is so nice as well. Great staff, great location, great salon!

I used to be a bit of a Westchester salon snob and would only get cuts in the city. Leticia at Aura will be my new go to lady for an amazing cut here!
As a new client, she took extra time to cut slowly and see how my hair reacted. I had shoulder length and wanted. Shorter and fun. She got it just right! My new cut feels fun and flirty and is perhaps a better version of the cut I loved from the city.
