The course seems fine, my main complaint is UNC does not have a way to rent discs, even for students. This is surprising, seeing as you can check out X boxes, bikes, camping gear, athletic equipment, and much more. Why they have a disc golf course but don’t have a way for students to check out discs does not make sense to me.

For as much as I don’t like UNC I really do like this disc golf course. — You have to have a student ID to park near hole 1. — During the school year they play doubles on Saturdays — The mosquitoes suck in the summer. The disc golf course wraps around some baseball fields over near Finley. You can use the official disc golf course website for better directions to the entrance areas: or you can use your favorite disc golf course site. A lot of it is in the woods, some of it looks like old golf courses, and you can get a glimpse at what it must look at the houses nearby the course. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. At around hole 3 you can sit down and watch the softball teams play if you time things right. Otherwise, it’s a great course. If you’ve got the time it’s worth playing. I happen to like the one over in Apex/Cary better and Cedarock near Burlington are two you in the area you should definitely play.
