Dr. Yang is attentive and listens to your concerns before making a medical judgment. We drive almost an hour and a half to see her and we’ve never felt like we were rushed out the door for a 15 minute appointment which is pretty typical in doctor’s offices these days. In fact, it’s really back to the old school way of family medicine. Where she listens to what sort of problems you may be having and then treats you with your comments in mind. That’s what medicine is about. Reminds me of a line in the hippocratic oath: «…I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person’s family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.» This practice does treat you like a sick human being. And you just can’t go wrong with that these days when other institutions treat you like a cog in a manufacturing factory.
