I have passed by this location almost daily for 2 years and did not stop to purchase anything until recently. I picked up some ribeyes and some skirt steak to cook at home. Sadly, the current owner has announced that they will no longer be selling beef. Need to stock up before the final date.

Great place to get farm fresh eggs and in the Spring see the little farm babies. We are very fortunate to have this resource as part of C-​town. Love driving by every day.

Rob Hogan is better-​known for being the caretaker of Rameses, the UNC mascot. He also raises cattle and grows wheat on his farm, and sells these items near the intersection of Homestead and Old 86. Meat is sold frozen in vacuum-​sealed packs on Fridays and Saturdays between 10 and 12. Prices are listed on the website, along with health benefits and cooking tips for grass-​fed beef, which is different from the more typical grain-​fed beef you buy at the grocery store. Prices seem about average for local meat, compared to what I’ve seen at the farmer’s market.
