Chapel Hill Boarding Kennel

I contacted Chapel Hill Boarding for help in training my dog. Gene is highly knowledgable about dogs behaviors and also in teaching people how to behave with their dog. After a few months of work with Gene, I have gained a much better grasp on handling my dog and the relationship with my dog has greatly improved. I am so thrilled with how she has turned out and highly recommend Gene for anyone who wants a much better grasp and relationship with their dog.

I have boarded my dog at the Chapel Hill Boarding Kennel several times over the last two or so years (most recently this past weekend). It is a relatively new kennel that is located very close to I-​40 (exit 261). It still has a new and very clean feeling. My dog always seems excited to arrive and the staff always seem to treat her well. While boarding, dogs are taken outside to relieve themselves in a fenced area four times daily, and you can pay extra for additional walks on the large property. They do not charge extra to administer medicine, which I have appreciated. I like that the kennel is on the property of the owner’s home — if there were to be an emergency at the kennel, the owner is right there. The owner is also a dog trainer, and while we haven’t used the training services, it is clear that he loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about them. While I think their prices are slightly higher than other similar kennels in the area, Chapel Hill Boarding Kennel is our preferred kennel because of the great facilities and the trust we have in the staff.
