This is one of the healthier options in the Bottom of Lenoir, and I was lucky to have come across a menu featuring pesto a couple days ago. As stated in the other review, the menu changes a lot(weekly? I’m not too sure), reflecting different produce sourced close to Chapel Hill. And their pesto chicken pasta was delicious. It’s so hard finding that dish here, at least within a walkable distance of campus. I probably won’t see it on the menu again for some time, but it was good while it lasted. It’s also a bit more expensive than the other dining options – this depends on what they have for the day.

1.5.0. is located in the Bottom of Lenoir(dining hall) on the campus of UNC. It offers a limited menu of fresh items with ingredients sourced from within 150 miles of Chapel Hill. The line is usually pretty long during lunchtime since UNC is essentially like a small city and healthy, fresh food is hard to come by. The past two times I’ve gone, I got the chicken salad sandwich(they were out of the Eastern BBQ the first time). It comes on toasted sourdough with lettuce and tomatoes. I also got sweet potato fries my last visit. The sandwich is delicious – definitely up there with the best chicken salad sandwiches I’ve had. Crispy bread, great chicken, fresh produce. The sweet potato fries were quite disappointing – just didn’t do it for me. Price isn’t too bad but it’s still steep for college students. Expect to spend between $ 7 and $ 12 for lunch. I’ll definitely continue going to 1.5.0. as it’s a great change of pace from the dining halls. Edit: been here probably 2 dozen times. Consistently great. 5 stars.
