What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is small. It’s very clean and the people there are very friendly. The buffet was pretty small but the food was fresh. Looked good. We ordered off of the menu. I had the Mongolian Beef and my wife had sesame chicken. The sesame chicken was good. The Mongolian Beef was probably the best I ever had. We would return.

Highly recommend the Mongolian Beef. My wife and I eat here when we come to Chanute. The buffet is good but we usually order hot tea and the Mongolian Beef so we can take the leftovers home. The portions are big and the food is really fresh and flavorful. The staff is very friendly too. My grandparents came to visit and my grandmother left her purse at the restaurant. They were closing when I called and had someone meet us to reopen the restaurant to give her her purse.

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and even though the name and management has changed it is still a family ran and family friendly restaurant! Plus the food isn’t your regular«mall Chinese» type of Chinese, it’s fresh and you can tell it has been made from recipes passed down through the family. The food is very delicious, my favorite being their homemade wonton soup! The buffet is nicely priced and their hours are great! Just wish they were open on Mondays! Fast friendly service, great atmosphere, and wonderful food. Just don’t forget to ask for a cup of their jasmine tea!!!

Kids decided they wanted Chinese food while we were in town. Worst mistake ever, it was NOT good. The food was bland and nasty. Even the fortune cookie was old and stale.

My adult daughter and I love Chinese food, so we tried this Chinese place in downtown Chanute. Not so good. The selection of items on the buffet was so-so and although we were there in prime time, several items were in short supply. I ordered hot tea and was charged $ 4+ for one pot. The buffet itself was only $ 8 per person. When I went pay at the register, a small boy(7 years old?) climbed up on a footstool and rang up my Mastercard charge!(Is that even legal under child labor laws?) Strange — no adults were even in sight! The little boy went back to watching a kids show on the large screen TV on the wall next to the register(the sound was on loud and near the dining area). Hate to sound like a grump, but it was not a good dining experience. Not sure I’d recommend eating here unless you have small children and want a break from McDonald’s play land!

Absolutely the best Mongolian Beef I’ve ever had! I eat here every time I come home and am never disappointed. Great service, always clean, always fresh. Not the usual generic Chinese restaurant.
