This restaurant is a menace, they over price their food, they are an embarrassment to restaurants nationwide. There was a food truck today, «taking their business» the owner of the restaurant jumped on their truck and threatened innocent people. First of all, they charge 12 dollars for a fucking sandwich. They charge 4 dollars for fries and 2.70 for a bottle of Arizona Green Tea which is normally $ 1.70. The restaurant should be marked as $$$ not just one $ and honestly the way they handle their business is an embarrassment to all restaurants. I will never eat here again.

I’ve been coming here for years since I work in the area. Yes, their prices are a bit high but the food is fresh and made to order. There are genuinely friendly people behind the counter who are committed to making your food just the way you like it. They have done and continue to do great work and I would highly recommend them.

Disappointing. New to this business park last fall I soon discovered Uptown was the only food option for lunch within walking distance. With the snow melting, I was looking forward to patronizing more frequently. Not now. Panini sandwiches are prominently featured on their menu. However they seem to think that Panini means«luke warm chabata bread». They have a Panini press, but won’t use it. I commented to the staff that I did not think that 30 seconds each side on the griddle would flatten the sandwich, heat the insides, or crisp the bread. They assured me I was wrong on all counts. Sure enough, my sandwich was ice cold, the cheese had not melted, the bread was lifeless and without crunch and more like a stale turkey club. Disgusting. What is more disgusting is that I made my expectations clear, politely engaged during a slow period in service asking for what I was expecting, and gave them every opportunity to right course. Completely unwilling to take constructive input from a hungry customer. Sad.

Uptown Café is a gem. They have a big roasted turkey everyday that they carve meat off of for turkey sandwiches. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great selection of breads, beverages, snacks, etc. It appears to be run by a family and they are all very friendly. To top it off the prices are very reasonable.
