Good Indian Punjabi food. Have been here quite often even though it’s about 30 min drive from my place. Their tawa chicken is a must try

This place is very unassuming, yet amazing. I had the best vegetarian tikka masala of my life here. It’s inside a big grocery store next to other little food places, like a food court, but don’t let the lack of ambiance scare you away – the food is great. I can’t wait to go back.

FIRSTTHINGSFIRST. Punjabi By Nature is located inside of the LOTTE. Secondly. You already know this place is poppin when most of the reviews are from brown folks. Turns out, ITISVERYDELICIOUS! I use to live at a good friends home with him and his parents(whom were middle eastern) so I’ve had my share of brown folk cuisine. This place is soo goot. I ordered TWO entrees from the section: Khane Ka Swad(VEGETARIAN)– Kadai Paneer & Palak Chana Kadai Paneer was a very orange and creamy based curry w/little veggies and tofu bits inside. They obviously put crack in here cause I couldn’t stop dipping my naan. So rich and flavorful. Palak Chana… pretty much a spinach dish, also with crack inside. I guess the only thing is that its a little pricey. If you like Middle Eastern cuisine, this place won’t disappoint. Im 100% certain.

Great for a night when you don’t feel like cooking and want some really good takeout. All the dishes we tried we loved. Only thing is it was tough to find, so make sure you know to actually go in the plaza building there. There’s no sign outside that you can see from your car.

I took my father-in-law here(he’s a major foodie) and he order the goat. He said it was the best Indian food he has had in the DC area and I may have to agree with him. It was delicious and there was a lot of food for what you pay for. I highly recommend this place and I’ll be back soon. Located inside Lotte Plaza in the back right corner.

This place is my go to when I don’t feel like cooking at home. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I love the food here. The chur chur Naan is my favorite. Chicken tikka was also delicious. If you want to have tasty indian food and don’t care much about the ambience, then I would highly recommend this place — a hidden food haven for foodies. It’s the best in the area.

This place is a tiny hidden gem inside of the Lotte market. I wish they had signs outside or better directions but regardless, the food was great! I highly recommend the kofta. The paneer makhni was a little dry for my taste and the chole bhatura was too strong in their spices. The naan was on point. I’ll definitely be returning to try out their meats! There’s also a bunch of seating so no issues with that.

convenient location as when you are going for grocery shopping in lotte same time you can plan for dinner. Coming to food, this place is always a safe bet. I have tried majority of non veg item and most of them are good. I don’t know why but serving size in parcel is better than dine in :-)

If I lived closer I would be there every day. I always get the paneer tikka platter or chur chur naan. I can’t be torn away from these items. The quality of all the dishes is excellent. Rich, flavorful, hot, thick, perfect Punjabi food. A friend ordered the malai kofta and ate every bite happily.

This is a small place inside Lotte. Although, you may never find it appealing to eat in a food court, this place surprised me when I tried their food. I love this place ever since I tried it the first time and have been a regular to this place since 6 months. They serve Authentic Punjabi Paranthas(with butter on the side), pickle and raita. Every time I decide to go try something else I end up ordering the paranthas. Have tried their chicken biryani and chicken curry — very tasty and well prepared. No one has complained about their food when they have tried different things. All in all — a good place to eat good Indian food.

I’ve been curious about Punjabi by Nature, ever since it opened up a section in Lotte’s food court(they have another location out in Leesburg). The menu is pretty extensive, offering items such as choley bhature, jus egg parantha, chicken tikka, lamb seekh, rolls, wraps, curries, and even vegetarian options. I tried their Butter Chicken, while the hubs had their Chicken Tikka Masala. The Butter Chicken was more tomato-focused, rather than the thick creaminess that I usually prefer. I did like the Chicken Tikka Masala better, as it had a nice bite to it, and it was great dipping in the garlic/buttered naan that we ordered in addition to. You can also request the spiciness level, from mild to hot; we did medium, and it had a subtle spiciness to it, but not anything you can really notice. When you order a platter, it comes with your choice of naan or rice, so keep that in mind. The rice was a little on the stale end, so I highly suggest in going for the breads. I’d like to try out their Chicken Curry, the Kadai Chicken, and their Biryani the next time. The staff were super friendly, and it’s a pretty okay place to get your Indian cravings out of the way when you’re shopping at Lotte. +Chicken Tikka Masala +Garlic Naan +friendly staff

My friends raved about this place, especially the parathas, so we trekked our way up here from Vienna. I was amazed at the fact that this place was tucked in Lotte Plaza(which btw has many aisles of Indian groceries… wah?!!). We ordered the paneer katti roll, gobi and onion tava parathas which came with butter, pickle and raita, mango lassi and salty lassi. The mango lassi was really good, salty lassi was ok, my husband really liked the katti roll but the parathas were really disappointing. It needed more spices and generally a lot more oomph. Looking at what the others were ordering, I am guessing the north indian entrees are a lot better. If I find myself in this area again, I’d definitely give this place another try. For parathas get the frozen ones, they are way better. Or, just make them at home.

One of my favorite haunts for Punjabi(North Indian) food. Paneer kadhai, Mushroom Mutter & their parathas(onion, gobi etc) are awesome. Malai kofta is good but not as great as the other dishes. Can’t talk about the non-veg portion as I am a vegetarian myself, but judging from the experiences of my friends who do eat non-veg, seems their chicken and goat/lamb curry is great too! A bit pricey but the food’s worth it.

They catered an Indian expo event in Virginia. Shahi Paneer is amazing! Butter chicken is not bad either.

I keep coming back to this place any time I crave indian food. It’s as good as my grandmother’s cooking! The dishes are perfect every time. I really wish they delivered! They cater as well. Update: Their website shows three phone numbers, but the one that is easiest to order through is(571) 830‑0123.

«Where is this place??» After yelling at our GPS and driving around in circles for a bit, my friends and I finally figure out that Punjabi by Nature is INSIDE Lotte Plaza. Thanks for nothing, Google maps. Don’t be deterred by the bare-bones layout of PBN’s location inside Lotte Plaza’s cafeteria. The food is actually quite good. I ordered the lamb curry, friend A ordered the lamb biryani, and friend B ordered the butter chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed my mild lamb curry with rice. The curry was hearty and contained plenty of large chunks of lamb. They give a bit of green chutney and a small«salad» of cucumbers and onions to accompany your curry. Not bad for cafeteria food! As for friends A and B, friend A was not unhappy with his enormous portion of biryani but friend B thought her butter chicken was too watered down. Friend B might object, but I’d come back!
