Dr. Fugate is phenomenal! My son has been seeing her for the past 10 years, she is very intelligent and intune with modern medicine. Her personality is genuine, humble, friendly and professional. We never feel rushed, she listens, she’s understanding and is very transparent with medication side effects etc. She will inform you what is «best» for your child’s health /treatment and she’ll discuss the pros and cons as well. She’s very thorough in her evaluations and I personally think that’s priceless. Many doctors nowadays are always in a rush and seem to be arrogant but«NOT» Dr. Candace Fugate!!! If you’re looking for a great doctor for your child look no further Dr. Fugate is it! She’s the best. Additionally the office and exam rooms are very clean. And staff is friendly. Please note: At times the ‘front desk individuals’ can seem overwhelmed but that’s understandable because of the volume of phone-calls they tend to and the process of checking in & out patients. The front line at a medical office handles multiple duties and tasks please always have that in mind and genuinely put yourself in their shoes. M. Ortiz

Dr. Fugate is a great doctor and I love the practice in general. We have seen Dr. Fugate, was our first pediatrician, since my daughter was born in 2010 and a few days old. She is kind, knowledgeable and always listens. I feel she has given great advice and is understanding. I trust her on vaccinations and my child’s health in general. I recommend her and the rest of the practice.

We were shopping around for a pediatrician for our newborn. We were especially looking for some flexibility with the schedule of vaccinations against the less-severe diseases. My wife grew up in another country and was wanting a vaccination schedule more along the schedule normal for that country. But we got no flexibility from Dr. Fugate. Asked if there was room for compromise, Dr. Fugate said she could not in good conscience vary from the CDC guidelines. That’s laudable, except that in an article on in March 2008, two CDC doctors wrote, «Although some may call it a ‘one size fits all’ approach, the recommended vaccine schedule is flexible, «according to I have great respect for the CDC’s recommendations. But we felt Dr. Fugate was closed-minded about medical procedures accepted nation-wide in other countries. We next visited a doctor who was educated in another country(not the same as my wife’s home country) and we were all on the same page within moments and we’ve been with him for 2 years, now. I have no reason to doubt that Dr. Fugate is talented and that the TPG staff is a very capable group of people. But if the recommended vaccine schedule is indeed flexible as noted by CDC doctors, we saw none of that in Dr. Fugate. So a two-star(meaning«Meh. I’ve experienced better.») from us.
