Clean place, good service but food wasn’t so great. Almost no lettuce in the taco salad. Nachos were not made with real shredded cheese. Burrito was ok but nothing great.

AWFULFOOD! My husband and I got sick from eating there! Their steak is not what normal burritos have in them! Ate there before and it was good! Not consistent at all! But the steak was very foreign to me this last time! That concerns me that it is not from cows! UGH!

Worst Mexican meal I ever had. Everything overly salty and steak in burrito burnt. Too bad Lalos was closed for remodel.

Don’t know what happened at Taco Burrito King. Use to be consistent place but the food quality has really slipped over the last 6-months.

I have eaten here many times and the food is not consistent. Sometimes its very good and other times it is less than desirable, guess it depends on who’s cooking it. Its like rolling the dice at the casino, you just don’t know what you will get.

Food was okay. The prices were kind of expensive for the location. prices seemed more comparable to Chipotle. The food didn’t have much flavor but was okay nothing to write home about.

Stopped here on our way home. It was good, fast and clean.

This is a chain. This is no different than any other Taco Burrito King you’ve been to or come across. Be that as it may, they cook everything fresh and right there. They are also better than most Mexican chain restaurants.

DELISH! I heard stories as a child about the giant burrito that was crafted here. Years later I decided to go and try it. I ate it all in one sitting(not my brightest idea) passed out for a few hours, woke up full, went to work. Didn’t eat anything until lunch time the next day. Is that what it feels like to be pregnant?

I enjoy Mexican food a lot! My first visit was just ok. I had the steak taco plate. The tacos were very good but the beans and rice were not so good. I will give this place another chance to try the fajita burrito.

Authentic Mexican food that is cooked when you order… HUGE portions and really tasty! I ordered the Enchilada plate and my husband ordered the Super King Burrito. All of the food has good flavor and is presented nicely. :) We will be back!

Gigantic king burrito! Steak was a bit grisly but taste is good. They cooked it all fresh to order. Would definitely come back, but would probably get beef instead of steak.

TBK has good enchiladas and really good tacos. Their daily specials are a good bargain. Nice place for a good meal.

Got a stake an ground beef toco chips and dips and a drink for 8.60. Every thing was awesome. The salsa was not to good tho. But to be fair I am not a huge salsa fan.

My husband is a mexican food lover, and I am just the innocent wife who must follow her husband’s tastebuds! Especially when he is painting 1300 sq ft of our house by himself and not complaining one bit! With paint covered hands and a toddler in tow, I made the quick drive to Taco Burrito King. It is a ghost town, but its Channahon, not Chicago. The food was great, and I loved they have a daily special. The customer service was bleh, but they were quick and still polite. We will be back to try more!

Before hitting a haunted corn maze last night, the Dude and his brother made a run for takeout at Taco Burrito King. I perused the takeout menu before they went and was impressed by the low prices. I ordered a steak sope and a steak taco for less than five smackers. The steak was seasoned nicely and they threw on toppings that some places tend to either forget or assign an upcharge(hooray for sour cream!). The Dude had a cheese quesadilla and a veggie tostada that was covered with lots of fajita vegetables. He was full, happy and ready to tackle the haunted corn maze! Bonus points: homemade hot sauce that is actually hot! This place is right by the Dude’s brother’s house, so I’m sure we’ll be visiting again!

There is some really good food here! The tacos are great. The meat is good quality, and the toppings are perfect. I also had something like a giant fajita wrapped like a burrito. I think it was called a king fajita or something. It was excellent!

Went by here last night expecting a little more. The place was a complete ghost town. But I wasn’t spooked. What did scare me was the super dry tasteless chicken king burrito they threw together. The food was really a miss this time. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

My husband loves coming here for lunch for a king size steak burrito, with the green hot sauce! He finally got me to cave in to giving it a try. So, we took the family(us and our kids 4 and 3). I had the ground beef taco plate, the kids split a quesadilla plate, and he had his usual, and a large horchata. The 4 of us ate well for just over $ 20. My tacos were very good! If you’re even considering dropping $ 15 at the bell for a family meal, and your near by, give TBK a chance instead!

Imagine the audacity of calling yourself not only the Taco King, not only the Burrito King, but the TACOBURRITOKING. That’s what I thought upon first visiting TBK. The food must be terrible, because that shithead name HAS to be overcompensating for SOMETHING. Imagine my surprise then, upon devouring of my 1 steak taco and 1 pork-ish taco, that they were INDEEDTHEHIGHLANDEREQUIVALENTTOTACO-DOM. They also serve beer, which is especially nice on an especially long work-day. The place is decorated in a Chipotle knock-off way, which isn’t a bad thing given the usual décor of these types of establishments. Bathroom was one of the filthier bathrooms I had ever seen(including port-a-potties). I really had to use every Sith mind trick I knew to put this out of my mind as I ate my food.
