Booked 3 pedis in the gorgeous spa. Reception was to set the tone of our visit! Warm, sincere welcome with an offer of beverages immediately. It is clean, the pedicures were relaxing and professional. Highlight is the 0 gravity spa chairs! Highly recommend and will be back.

I am so glad that we found the Village Health Club! We are out of town on vacation and needed a nice club with a track. What we found is SOMUCHMORE! You will find anything you need at this health club. I have been working out for the past 18 years, and I can tell you that this is one of the best clubs that I have ever seen! It’s SO clean and the entire club is gorgeous. You won’t be sorry you joined! And a special thank you to Nick, the membership director, who welcomed us with open arms for the week that we are in town. We are looking forward to returning every year.

I had a great experience at the salon today! I had my hair color and cut appt with Erica F, and she did an amazing job! The service there was outstanding! I really couldn’t ask for a better experience at the salon! THe management team there at the salon should feel very blessed to have an employee like Erica with her outstanding service!

I love working out at The Village in Ocotillo. The staff is so friendly and eager to help you. I have made friends with some of the employees. The place is always so clean and their Personal Trainers are great. Worked my butt offf!

I joined as a charter member prior to the club being built. The club continues to grow, adds more classes and is the best place for fitness in town. It offers everything you could imagine and variations of classes and machines that you cannot find elsewhere in the area. The staff takes pride in keeping everything clean and being friendly. The menu at the café is broad, yet simple and the prices are reasonable. The food is great! If you use the facilities, attend classes and seek to get the most of your membership, the cost is entirely fair. I would like to see more free events for adults. There is no price gouging as to membership fees. I have in the past belonged to the Chandler(and other) YMCA(and am a prior board member), LA Fitness and comparable clubs in Los Angeles. The Ocotillo Village far exceeds these in quality, cleanliness and friendliness.

I joined the Village two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. No sales pressure if you don’t want to join; you do it because you want to not because they are pressuring you. No it is not an inexpensive health club but it is all about what they offer for your money, the installations are beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, the schedule of classes is ample and with variation for everyone to enjoy group classes, barre, pound, yoga, hot yoga, vinyasa yoga, power yoga, restorative yoga, piyo(pilates/yoga), muscle, core, Pilates, cycling, kinesis, Zumba,…etc, etc Beautiful pool, tennis courts, racket ball, basketball court, full gym with all the latest equipment. Sauna, steam room, nice showers with all amenities included, whirlpool, etc… Kids and teens fitness classes and swimming and tennis lessons. They also have a full spa and many social events scheduled throughout the year. I was going to Mountainside Fitness and while I did liked it there is no comparison even if the price is more than doubled. I am very happy my husband and I joined! PS The food at the cafeteria is great!

I have been here a few times as a guest and I think the café is one of the best things about the place. If you get a chance to try the Steak Tacos get them!!! And then go burn off the calories suing basket ball or in a ZUMBACLASS!

My family and I have been members for 6 weeks… And we’ve gone every single day. Let’s start with the cost. Yes, it’s a lot of dough. Let’s not kid ourselves. But you get what you pay for. We are a two dad family with 3 year old twins. We have gone almost every single day since we joined at the end of April. We are getting our money’s worth. The staff know us when we walk in. I don’t even have to scan my card anymore. When they see me pull into the parking lot and unloading the kids and all the stuff that comes with kids they automatically check me in. This is a huge help when I’m loaded down with two toddlers and all their bags and don’t have a free hand to dig around for my card. I can’t state enough how nice it is that the staff learns and remembers our entire families names. On those rear occasions that I don’t have the kids with me, they are always sure to ask about them. The folks in the kid’s club are amazing. The programs they offer the kids are top notch, especially the tumbling program. Their is a nice indoor track and plenty of brand new top of the line cardio equipment. I do wish the weight floor was a little bigger, but it never feels too crowded. We get a lot of use out of the pool and our children are taking swim lessons with their staff and we have been very satisfied. I do wish they served cocktails for the evenings when you want to have a few minutes to unwind with the friends you’ve made at the club… but they do serve wine and beer at a surprisingly affordable price. Other stand outs is the plush towel service and shave stations in the men’s steam room. Very nice touch. They provide all the toiletries as well. There is some speed bumps which are to be expected when a facility is just opening(hence the loss of 1 star). They seem to always be tweeking procedures. I expect by this time next year they’ll have everything running very smoothly. It’s a very posh place. I’m a fan.

I have been a member since the club opened any my kids and I are thoroughly enjoying it. Like any new facility, there have been a few bumps but the staff seems to listen to the members and adjust accordingly. Yes, it is more expensive but the club is beautiful, the classes are awesome, my trainer Kellie is amazing and so knowledgable, my kids love the kids club, the café and swimming after workouts. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would like to see change is having to call ahead for childcare reservations. Other than that, I am super pleased! I have belonged to many different gyms and this is on a whole different level.

PRICEGOUGINGATTHEBEST!!! 6÷2÷2015 So they clearly built this abnormally large facility without a plan on how to pay for it… enter the clientele. They will Village Suck every Penny from you! Save your time and money and check out the YMCA! Let’s start with no group rate!!! Nope, nada, zip, zilch… not even going to discuss it. No corporate rates, no community rates, no school rates, no veterans rates, no senior rates, no gay rates, no straight rates, no black rates!!! NOTHING! They were not willing to provide a group rate(she even stated that their Intel rate is higher than their specials right now). Anyways, here’s the scoop: The enrollment fee is $ 450 right now. They are offering a $ 50 off coupon for the month of June, so $ 400. That’s for a family or individual plan. She stated that this is half of the other clubs in Phoenix. Right {cough Planet Fitness}!!! If you don’t take the 7 day trial, they will discount this to $ 300, but that is as low as they will go. {Cough Studio Fit free 2 weeks} For the month of June, they are offering $ 500 in member incentives. The package includes several things like a 30 minute massage, 30 minute pilaties, 60 minutes of personal training, etc.) Also, the month of July is free(waive monthly costs). As to the membership rates, they are $ 159/mo + $ 76 for a significant other = $ 235/couple. Children are $ 42(1 – 6 children, not per child). If you don’t pay for children to be on your plan, the rates below go up. It comes to a difference of $ 2/mo. Child care is additional for children under 5. It’s $ 4/hr/child, max 3hrs/day. But they also offer an unlimited plan which makes sense if you use more than 11 hours/mo. It’s $ 55/child, $ 90⁄2 children, or $ 125⁄3 children. So, a family plan($ 277/mo) + child care for 3($ 125) = $ 402/mo! THATIS A NICECARPAYMENTPEOPLE!!! Not even if I had unlimited disposable income would I pay for that!!! No bar… no drinks at the spa! No high end dinner restaurant. Healthy gluten free lunch cafeteria at $ 15 – 22 per meal. Can you imagine the pretentious socializing that will commence here? No top golf. No water park. Staff fresh out of college… lacking experience… hey have to minimize costs somehow… planning on outsourcing to India as soon as they find a provider. Guess how many plys the toilet paper is at this place??? Check out lifetime fitness on 6÷2÷2015. They are waiving enrollment fees if you mention considering the Village!!! Please stop gouging the residents of Chandler… we deserve $ 50/month health/fitness access not at our expense of the poor planing for your facility rates.

Beautiful facility, responsive management, friendly staff. The club has been open less than a month and I’ve yet to be greeted with anything but a smile and a «how can I help you?» attitude.

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give 0. For almost $ 300/month on a family membership, I expected a lot more. After 2 weeks we’re done. The weight room is way too small, it’s hard to get a tennis court, the basketball courts are busy and smell like BO, plus the kids club costs $ 4/hour or $ 90/month beyond the membership fees, and smells like poopy diapers to boot. Wasn’t told about the extra $$$ when we joined. Go elsewhere unless you like small, smelly, crowded, frustrating experiences.

Terrible first impression. Daughter and I went to tour and check the place out. I am a long-time LifeTIme gym person, and thought this could be a similar experience but much closer to home. We were told no one was available to help us, given a cup of water, and basically told to leave. Asked if we could look around and was told no. Spent a whole 5 minutes, max, in the entrance area. And no one has called to follow-up with us. Sad.

Facilities are incredible! Service is fantastic. Location is ideal. Just as in life, it all comes at a price: $ 450 down; $ 270 per month for a family of four; $ 140 a month for individuals. It could be worth the price if it is used enough. Your choice. Personally, I’m a fan!
