So completely disappointed. I lost my surface pro 2 pen over vacation. Came in to see if they either had that pen or something else compatible. The girl I talked to said they didn’t make the pen anymore… and that was it. She didn’t have any other knowledge and she didn’t even make an effort to find me another solution when I asked. She just seemed very um… UN-knowledgeable. She did say that we could go across to Brookstone because they have a universal pen. So we went… and guess what? Nope. EDIT**** I’ve been chatting with the Microsoft store support online(they are always much more friendly and helpful). And they are able to ship me a new pen! I asked my CS rep if it was true Microsoft stopped making the pens for Surface pro 2s, and she said that’s not true, and it really just depends on the stock of the store. So now I have the proof that the woman I spoke to at this store just really didn’t know anything…

Purchased a Lumia 830 along with the Microsoft«Complete Care» from the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, a much better experience. The Chandler Fashion square mall store was an embarrassment and very upsetting. The first associate gave me, at first, no option; then an option to get a Lumia 640; next option was $ 399 towards a new phone; and then finally settled on «The other store should have never sold you a warranty and we cannot help». I kindly asked to speak to a manager. The manager would not hear or look into my warranty claim, and after privately meeting with the other sales associate, told me there was nothing to do but call the Online Microsoft Store help. I called the help number given and after 45 minutes was told to go back to the store with a case number; I felt like this was unlikely to accomplish anything since the manager wouldn’t even pick up a pencil or touch a computer to do any research… this is about the most un-helpful experience I’ve ever experience; an experience that took my wife from wanting to try a Lumia to keeping her old iPhone. Several days later I went back to the original store, the Scottsdale Fashion Store, and had a warranty phone without any further issues. Do Not Go to Chandler, they are unexperienced, unhelpful, and a complete waste of time. Go to Scottsdale, worth the drive every time!

This store has the rudest Microsoft customer service on the Earth. The way that they are treating their customers exactly like police and thieves.

Went in today to get some help with a stylus for my surface pro 2 that we use for our business. The associate was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of. I will be sure and return when we do our upgrades to new tablets at the end of the year. Someone is getting an Xbox one for Christmas, too. Great service.

I love this store and the customer service just as much as I consistently despise the Apple Store’s lack of customer service. Here they go out of their way to accommodate every customer within 5 minutes which is super reasonable. They even offer you something to drink while you wait. They also make a point to remember your name and I can really appreciate that. Thanks Microsoft!

Came here last nite to get new phones for the wife and I. Stephen and Rosa helped us out and were great. The AT&T system was all whacked out, which made things take a long time… but it wasn’t their fault. They were super nice and helped us keep our 21 month old son entertained until we could work things out. Really great products and service :)

This is «The Gaming Store» in the area. The Sales Rep., Paul, was more than helpful as he was more knowledgable than the sales staff at the Microsoft store, on all XBox tech and questions. My suggestion, go during the week, not in the evening, unless you or your kids are ready to blow a gasket, and there will be no waiting line. Paul answered all our questions and was very polite and professional. I highly recommend this location!

I went in and was greeted by several employees immediately. 9ne of them even offered my husband and I a drink of water or soda. They were very nice but they didnt carry my favorite brand, Toshiba. It wasn’t as packed as it was during the holiday season which was nice. Customer service her was a lot better than the Apple store

Went here thinking I’d check out the new Microsoft store. What a colossal waste of time. Everything in here is available in any Best Buy or Fry’s Electronics store. Why does this store even need to exist? I Walked through the store and was completely ignored by all the employees there — seems like their brains had blue-screened and their personalities won’t be activated till the next service pack. The XBox seemed to be the most advertised item as I saw it everywhere. Funny that the XBOX posters proudly announce that it’s bundled with Assassin’s Creed Unity — a game with more freaking bugs than Lindsay Lohan’s crotch. Hell — even the usual mallrats that seem to overwhelm Apple stores stay away from this place. 50SHADESOFFAIL!

I wonder when Apple is going to notice they only sell phones now? Until last year, I only bought Macs. I’m now on my third PC, and it is all due to the personnel at the Microsoft store. This location is of course new but the staff have already proven they are worth driving across the valley for. The knowledgable personnel, the reliable customer service, the awesomeness of Windows 8.1 on a touchscreen, all have combined to flip me from Apple. And to add insult to injury, the Surface 3 is the first computer I’ve ever owned that lives up to its marketing. Now if only Microsoft could make a great mobile operating system…

What an experience. So let me start by saying I’ve experienced nothing but issues with my xbox one, it had been serviced three times and now reaching the end of my warranty. The fact the drive was failing again had me very concerned. Suffice to say I was more than livid coming into the store. In short I was promptly able to book an appointment, was able to work with several people, the last gentleman Cory, took ownership of the issue and was able to set me up with a new unit. After issue… after issue with both best buy and xbox support who can’t seem to give a clear answer it was quite refreshing to work with an employee face to face and have it resolved quickly. So in conclusion, this place has a super friendly and attentive staff I highly recommend you come and visit. Bring your business here!

Brand new store. Just opened. It’s Microsoft’s answer to the Apple Store. However, I didn’t notice anything resembling a «Genius Bar»(though the place was so crowded I could have missed it). Basically just lots of Microsoft products for sale. You could get them all at Amazon easier, and probably cheaper. Without a service bar of some sort I don’t really see the point. I was able to see a Surface Type Cover on my smartphone for 25% less than they had in this store(and, in fact, I ordered one… saved $ 30 compared to this store). If they have a service bar then add one star. Otherwise, just go to Amazon and order what you want.
